Alright, so I recently bought Mass Effect 2 from Direct2Drive. I open up the game, hit play, and it immediately cuts away from the registration screen and gives me a screen that says "We're sorry, an error has occured. We've noticed your computer is currently offline...". What could be the problem? I can't play the game unless I register.

You can't register if the game can't see an online server, so you have a site problem to deal with, not a game problem. There is a separate forum for that, but same as here, that is Gamer to Gamer, and official support is on EA's site (or D2D's if it is their screw up, rather than EA's).
