Vote for Mass Effect 2 in the finals of G4's Videogame Deathmatch

I'll be picking DS2 up for its single-player. I'll be surprised if I even touch the MP component.

I don't know if I quite agree with that logic. SC2 is just as eligible as any other game this year.
However, G4 really should have some kind of basic protection against people ballot stuffing.
This. SC2 belonged there, but like I said.
If you're going to troll, your vote should be discounted. At least in my opinion.
That and yeah, G4 needs to keep an eye on ballot stuffers.

I hate to say, but the more I look at the comments, the more disgusted I am, and the more likely our "demise" seems to be. I guess it's enough that we voted and showed some support, though, isn't it? After all, this contest is just flawed. Games like Starcraft shouldn't even be there.

Has just looked at this video. It was 5 minuts of talking about nothing + short reminder for SC2 fans to vote for their favorite game. Does he comment SC2 matches the same way? Booooooooooring.
Husky, if you are watching this forum, I wanna give a short answer to your video: "Humans talk too much, like the tank... Come back later."
Actually, it was about 1 minute of SC2 reminders/announcements and 4 minutes of him waxing lyrical about his new puppy. Who was ridiculously cute. Puppies make everything better
Also, there's a simple solution to dealing with the wankery. Don't read it. Don't watch Husky's videos if they upset or bore you. Don't even glance at the comments. Don't feed the trolls. Just vote.
I mean, I suppose if you WANT to be angry you can read the comments, but why would you want to be angry? Think about something happy. Like puppies. Or Legion being adorkable.

Can't someone go into the code and see
what the percentages are or something? I can't but I'm sure there is a
way to do it.
That was removed.

I know it is, but given the huge fanbase and all that, it seems out of place to include it with today's games in such a contest. That and seeing as how it's a PC strategy and the majority, if not all, of the games in question are multiplatform titles.

Not saying that: I believe FieryPhoenix7 is saying that ME 2 and SC 2 are completely different games; and because SC 2 is online, it naturally has a larger fan base.
Back onto the issue with Frank Gibeau;
I can believe every ME related product I buy helps support his $545,000.00 paycheck!

And if you read the article he didn't say there won't be single player games. He said that everything will have online functions, like ME2 does with DLC.

the president of EA only makes 545,000 (plus bonuses)? Seems a bit small to me actually...
NVM he also makes like 2.6 mil in stock rewards, so his actual salary is more like 3 million, which seems a lot more reasonable for his position

I know that that is implied there, but look at Knights of the Old Republic. ONLY Online! In addition, there are some rumors floating around that there will be a ME themed multiplayer game. (I don't completely buy into them, yet.)
Honestly, I do not have any problem with the inclusion of multiplayer features (more BANG for the buck), as long as it doesn't detract from the single player campaign. Unfortunately, this is not the case with many multiplayer games.
(Unfortunately, I am partially biased in my answers because I am stuck on mobile broadband, which is fine for games like Call of Duty, but too laggy for anything like Star Craft 2. And I have to forget about KoTOR completely!

Shouldn't ME2's availablility on the X-Box be SC2's disadvantage?
But StarCraft is better, because: it will sale in of millions of copies long after the Mass Effect series is forgotten.
That said, I think ME2 might actually win this poll... With the PS3 release coming EA needs it.

SC2 has its own disadvantages. Other games' advantages are not SC2 disadvantages. SC2 is not cross-platform game just becouse Blizzard is not ready to make such games yet. They tried to make "Starcraft: Ghost' but failed.

Baldur's Gate and Planescape were offline games too but people still remember them as one of the best RPGs. Someone even still playing them. Mass Effect is much better so people will remember it also.
And about all of this "millions" that Blizzard fans like to talk about. All this "statistics" about WoW, Dia, War and SC millions are lies. Real numbers are much less then some people say.
Finally, I don't understand why some people like SC2 so much while there are much better cybersport games: Counter Strike and Team Fortress.

'CoD/Halo suck, go back to your multiplayer'
'Lol ME2 doesn't even have MP'
Problem logic ?
