Best Story
Best Sci-Fi game
Best Character-Thane
Best Blockbuster game

and Best Character - TIM, best story, best soundtrack, best visuals, best Sci-Fi-Game and most innovative gameplay on PC.

as for the Death Match... I'm fine with Starcraft winning, because it's a really great game and with ME2 getting GotY, everyone won.

Are you serious? It's a trilogy. If you consider one part of a trilogy 1/3 game you can say the same for Mass Effect 2. Besides, StarCraft II had 29 missions compared to the 30 in the original StarCraft. However, the original had more tutorial missions.

I geuss they really liked the Illusive Man but also wanted to vote for Thane so they decided to split the award amongst both platforms.

I'm actually quite surprised X-play went with ME2 as overall GotY, i really thought they'd choose RDR(that's #3 on my list).  I geuss I underestimated their love for Epic Sci-fi RPGs.

Many people dismiss RDR; but I think it is an excellent game. If you like free roam games such as GTA, RDR is a superb game because it also has a good storyline too.

However, I definitely prefer games with deep storylines such as ME. But when you just want to gallop around and shoot anything with people online, Read Dead Redemption is the way to go. (Too bad they can't build a radio into the horses; I love GTA's comical radio tracks.)
