Yeah, but its for Game of the Year. Which in this case, I believe ME2 deserves.

It's a tough call. ME2 is a game you play 3 or 4 times ( or 6 if you're me  ) SC2 is a game you play forever. The StarCraft franchise is one of the most pioneering ever made.

But I would say ME2 is a more ambitious game. Reading the vitriol on that site is good fun. Definitely pits console against pc.

Seriously: SC2 wins just by its user-friendly interface. It even has "swithc off the damn Windows/Start key" function. They are geniuses at Blizzard.

I dunno, it's a hard choice to make. I think both deserve game of the year for different reasons. I think any decision I make will be based on what I feel which reasons are better/more important.

Husky is a youtuber who does sport-like commentaries on SC2 games.

He has thousands of viewers who'll do whatever he says.

He tells them to vote for something. They vote.

And because of this, SC2 has defeated Reach and ACB, when in both cases, SC2 would've lost.

Now ME2 is next in line for the Husky horde to attempt to overcome.

Starcraft 2 is a far better game than either Reach OR Brotherhood, thats why it won. And "Husky's Horde" are Starcraft players who would vote for their game whether he said so or not. The only contribution Husky makes to the vote is to inform the thousands of Starcraft players that the vote even exists.

And to be fair, I think its a testament to the quality of Starcrafts community that it can so easily be mobilised and that it has people like Husky (and there are more commentators than just him) get to the point where they can have so many subscribers.

Seems like you are in the minority here who is actually "objective" on the matter...Calling the oposite fanboys as mindless idiots then on the other hand not ashamed by gaining votes from the ones whose game was beaten by them previous rounds and thus feel the need for revenge...

To be honest, calling either side mindless is cheap, even with tons of trolling(and there is TONS of trolling going on over there).

Its not like there aren't a ton of SC2 fans voting for SC2 because they honestly think it should win.

But with all the Husky this, Husky that comments, its getting aggravating.

Then you've got the thumbing down of pro-ME2/anti-SC2 comments, then you have the fake percentages to scare off ME2 fans, and you've got trolls that I can't respect.

Then there's the boatload of people saying, "I only voted for Husky!".

That tells me what those people think.

In my opinion, those folks who troll need to not only be outed but need their votes discounted. If you can't be civil, you don't deserve to contribute.

That goes for both sides. ME2 fans and SC2 fans.

Whether ME2 wins or not, I don't think any of us really care. It'd be nice if we did, but its no big deal if we don't.

Well as I read through those comments, more insults are coming from "ME2" (they can pretty much be all covered Halo/AC) fans calling RTS crap and so on.
I personaly don't take those comments about Husky sending me as any kind of trolling or whatever. Husky fans are simply devoted to a guy who gained their respect and loyalty for what he is doing and he telling them to go vote is the same like say some ME fans spreading the word about the poll on the other forums...
But in the end for most SC fans this poll means not much since SC will be played even after 10 years or so regardless of winning or not but ME2 let's face it couldn't and won't last that long so it has to somewhat awarded...

its an RTS with some RPG elements in the single player campaign.

Oh and it wont be cheap, activision will be milking it into three seperate games
