If it confirmed/denied, if peacefully talking yourself out of combat will garner precious XP?

You know, it would make sense that if you have made yourself a name that people would rather not fight you. In this kind of games most of the people don't know the concept of surrernder or running though..

Outside of Orzammar is one, there's a few in Kotor, Jade Empire, & jsut about every game Bioware has made.
You realise I said "can't think of many situations" and not "there are no situations"?

Maybe a handful in each. The point is that combat is a very big part of all BioWare games unlike, say, PS:T, which has less than ten (four?) obligatory fights.Aermas wrote...

Sorry I didn't mean it to be accusatory or anything, I was just going to list a few examples, & didn't think. Sorry:(

Although, I would like to see more situations where someone urges you not to fight or not to kill someone and it winds up coming back later to bite you in the arse. Why is it only when everyone is saying "you should kill that guy" and you decide to let them LIVE that it bites you in the arse?
More arse-biting all around please.

It should be Isabela friendship +15 now, ne?
Yes, you're right, I'll edit
The suggestion above is really good though, people should be punished for killing people. It's only fair
