Can i get this achievement having started the game on a lower dificulty? If yes how soon do i have to change it by? the reason I'm asking is I'm starting again with my level 45 char to get this and the level 60 ach. I would liek to know if it's possible beforei spend too much time on trying to earn the ach.

From what i've read on the mass effect wiki, you have until the end of eden pime to change it to the desired difficulty. I've never done it myself, though.
