I've had mass effect 2 almost since it came out, this is a recent reinstall because my computer decided to die. Same infomation, same video card, same everything, but for some reason the faces of everyone are distorted and even after surgical or paragon correction- Shepherd and everyone else in the game looks like Edward James Olmos, even the women. This glitch is new to me, I've installed all downloaded content that has come along, reinstalled the game, reinstalled my video drivers, and tinkered around with video settings.
I'm also apparently too stupid to include pictures, but basically all the characters have odd creases in their face, and I believe there's some lines that look off at the startup when the cerberus network monitor pops up, there's almost a light echo.

I'm having the same problem, but its happening on all everything, like armor and skin. Pretty much same story, worked fine before I reinstalled it off steam. Maybe somethings wrong down there. I reinstalled the game a few times and updated my direct x and video card drivers.

Agreed to the armor and skin things- the back of Shepherd's arms look like cottage cheese. I see little glitches everywhere. On the skills profile picture it looks like he has tire tracks on his trachea.
Note: System is an athlon 64 x2 dual core 4200. nvidia geforce 7600 GT. Same hardware I used before, only difference is I had to format and re-install the entire hard drive

I'm having the same issue. When I first installed and played the game it looked beautyful. Will we ever get a fix or has this been answered already?

Thanks NipWup. I got some drivers about a year and a half old and it cleared the problem right up. So much for upgraded technology, advancements break things.
