I just pre-ordered on GameMania.. didn't mention anything about a SE and it's not one of the site's mentioned by Chris but they always have a lot of CE versions (including DA:O), so i'm going to assume it will be upgraded.... hopefully..

Are those just the website's you can pre-order from to get the Signature Edition? Because I don't order from the internet a lot. Sure I trust bol.com, but I would still like to order from my local game store.



Any word on which stores will get the Signature Edition? Like Music Store? Or will all stores get the Signature Edition?

We have been assured that the SE will be available market wide in the Netherlands (so all stores just like we have always said). We have pushed the retailers to update their websites and better inform their staff about this.

Unfortunatly you have to wait 2 or 3 days longer for DA 2 in the Netherlands.

I preordered the digital edition at the dutch EA store just before this thread was posted. Can I still undo that preorder and get a physical copy instead? If so should I bother? I'm not sure if there are any interesting extra items in the box.

I have shunned Game Mania ever since I placed a pre-order for the CE of Mass Effect 2 and I got a mail like 6 weeks before the releasedate that they werent getting enough of them and I was going to be left out.

I then preordered one through FRS *which ironically enough, operate under the same holding* and I got one, plus every pre-order bonus you could get.

I have a bad feeling about that - on release day, the store clerk looks at your pre-order, sees just DA 2, and will pick the regular edition for you, if you're out of luck.

I want to be certain before ordering. But the websites of those and other stores still mention nothing, and the store clerks didn't know anything about it either when I asked.

The only thing I found was one store where they offered the regular edition for €49,99 and the collectors edition for €79,99. If that collectors edition is the signature edition, it's way overpriced.

This pre-order action is proving to be really cumbersome, trying to find a store that participates. I really hope Bioware will never again do actions like this, and stick with actions for new purchases like with DA:O.

Thanks. They didn't have it last week, though. But better late than never I guess... <_<

I orderd the Signature Edition 1 or 2 weeks ago at Music Store, you should check again if you really distrust online shopping. Though I had good experiences with Bol.com

Bol.com indeed has their website updated, which is a good thing. E-plaza seems to have the signature edition too, but for a ridiculous price. So it really is a good thing to check first, even if all pre-orders should upgrade.

Gonna ask my local gamestore first, before pre-ordering at Bol.com. They are ok fellows, they just don't know squad about games+pre-order. Had some trouble with them when I pre-ordered Aion.

So at GameMania u will be upgraded to the SE, but they don't have the number or SE that they will receive yet...

True, but there’s just a lot of confusion going on. Bol.com apparently has no clue something called the signature edition exists when I asked them about it and Bart Smit took the 20 bucks worth of extra content a bit literal and has the signature edition next to the regular edition for 70,- euro.

It’s not like this is a unique thing. There was a similar lack of clear information about the whole Cerberus network thingey and the pre-order boni when ME2 came out. You’d think whoever was responsible would have learned from that…
