Hello all,

I'm not even sure if this is the right place to post this topic, but it seemd like the best option. I'm posting for a few reasons, the first being:

I'm wondering if I would have to ask permission from EA and/or bioware to create a free-to-play MUD (online text based roleplaying game) Based on the Dragon Age setting. I'm wondering this because there are a lot of forums for Dragon Age roleplay and the like. The MUD would be similar, but in a more direct format where you log in, create a character, and play with others in the same static realm (except for content that is added as the game progresses, etc)

So I don't know if permission is required or not, but if it is, I would like to know where to write to ask for the permissions to use the Dragon Age Setting and some of the names of characters, etc.

And secondly:

IF I don't need permission, OR upon reciept of granted permission, would anyone be interested in helping with the project? The game server would start out as a blank slate and would need people to build the world and populate it with mobs (npc's, monsters, enemies), Items, etc. So we will need people to help with these aspects, as well as play testing and other areas that help would be needed.

And again, for clarification, it would be a free-to-play game, and any people that would help would be doing so for their own enjoyment, and receiving no monetary compensation.
