A positive and negative of the current armour system in ME2 is that most pieces have so little effect that you can pretty much wear whatever you want without a noticable decrease in performance.

My preferred set up is Kestrel chestplate and shoulder pads, +5% weapon damage gauntlets, the headshot visor (or death mask) and the speed boosting greaves. This is partially because it technically boosts all the areas I want (as I tend to play my Adept as an old-school Vanguard) but primarily because I think that set up looks awesome.

If I was going for straight power I'd probably pick the Blood Dragon armour... but as much as I like the look of it, I've never felt it fit properly into the cutscenes
