Hi Chris, I'm sorry to whinge but this is not the answer to the 'huge fan demand'.  This is a lazy reprint of what was simply a 48 page collection of pictures.  I proudly have the original Mass Effect art book, a fantastic almost 200 page long tome next to other great art books like Half Life 2: Raising the Bar and Massive Black.  I will not be purchasing this.

I know it is too late now to expect a proper Mass Effect 2 art book, but please take on board these comments or pass them on to the department responsible for these decisions so that we get a proper Mass Effect 3 art book, or perhaps a trilogy art book.

It is just the artbook of the Collector's edition in bigger format. Is not that bad, but it's fairly unesessary a bigger version of it.

OK. Bioware should come up with a truly original idea instead of just enlarging the ME2 Collector's Edition Artbook.



I think I have a good idea for a product. They should make a round, shiny black Christmas ornament with the "N7" logo on the front. Simple, and it probably would sell well.

The CE already had the artbook, and well........ the only reason I would buy this is if I loved ME2.

Yep, BioWare sure missed the point and didn't really read what the fans wanted... again. They acknowledged the huge fan demand for an ME2 Art Book, but completely missed the whole point that what the fans were actually hugely demanding was a bigger, thicker ME2 artbook more akin to the original full-sized Mass Effect one with NEW ART WORK, and not just a blown up version of one most big Mass Effect fans will already have.

Alright I don't usually complain about things, but really. This is just lazy and I can tell just by looking at this thread that this is not from huge demand. This is cashing in and putting on a smile while saying it's what people wanted. Just read your blasted forums and realize this is not what fans want.

Art books seem to be the latest and greatest thing. Probably because they really are. After I bought the ME2 Collectors' Edition I found that ME1 had an art book too. A big one. I bought one about 6 months ago. It was almost impossible to find a new one for less than $100+. Making new ME1 art books available would be pretty sweet to those that haven't seen them. Because the book is pretty sweet.

yeah patryk's a great artist, especially as he's self-taught... anyway i just wonder how mass effect 1 with nothing preceded it warranted a proper art book, yet me2 with all it's successes doesn't?

Damn, maybe I should sell mine. I have 2 CE Strat guide sets, one opened and one sealed, plus one pre-order disc open and one sealed. Put that towards a terribly overpriced Tali lithograph.

$80 for a $40 item is terrible overpriced.

$200+ for a $40 item is RIDICULOUS!

Anyways, I wish you good luck in getting that litho; you're going to need it!

I think I have that many on my PC alone, never mind the Xbox!
