I'd say the more females in the party the better, especially if most of them are also potential LIs. Most of the dudes in DAO weren't very interesting, I took Allistair along a bit, Sten along a bit, Oghren very very little, mostly I'd take Morrigan and Leliana all the time, plus either Wynne or Shale depending on mood/situation. If Sigrun had been available in the original game instead of just Awakenings it would've made for some REALLY hard choices . I'd like to have those hard choices in DA2, so by all means give us more cool female teammates .

Oh and if you guys could post your gender so i could try to see if Males and females Have a diffrent viewpoint on this

I like characters I can relate to, and being a guy I tend to find it easier to relate too male characters. But at the end of the day I want GOOD companions. I want them to be equally interesting and varied. What they have dangling in-between their legs, whether sausage or roast beef, doesn't matter if they're well written.

I approve, it will make my all-lady runs easier. I wasn't able to have one of those in DAO untill I got shales dlc.

Shale counts because Shale was a female...

And if you talked with her, it WAS hinted at in her dialouge. Her "romance with Sten" he "does this make me look fat comments* hell she even sounded feminine.

I would prefer a balanced party, myself. But I guess if the party had more women than men, I'd be ok with that. As long as the men were hot.

I've never liked playing a warrior honestly, I only did it once just to get achievments. So my all Lady runs required a lady warrior like Shale.

So you're basing all this on your assumption that the preorder character is female and the assumption that Aveline isn't a LI thus we'd need another character.

Golems have no physical sex, that is extremely different than having no gender. Shale was very much mentally a woman, and in some endings turned back to physically female.

Well you did have the Arcane Warrior spec. Who needs a Warrior PC when you can have both Morrigan and Wynne tank for you? Actually, that'd probably make the game broken easy.

So you're basing all this on your assumption that the preorder character is female and the assumption that Aveline isn't a LI thus we'd need another character.

and so what if it's based on assumption it has nothing to do with the topic on how someone would feel on a primiraily female party, and the assumption is a pretty safe bet IMO

Shale never acted feminine to me as i do not ussually see distain for life and bloodlust as a Feminine qualitly.

I think its pretty likely.
