Are there gonna be any wicked supreme armor?
Something to look forward to in the game in DA2?
Like better looking robes for mages and Evil/Good armor? For special classes?

There will totally be evil armor. You'll put it on and it will start making you swear, kick puppies, and write bad checks. If you put on the good armor, you immediately give all your possessions away to the destitute and start making out with that one homely looking guy.

So, You don't want some good looking armor?

You want to be a mage with a shoe on your head?

You don't give a crap that your characters run around wearing fugly looking fur on their shoulders and bad colour.

I'd love good looking armor.

But, ummm, our companions don't change clothes, do they?

For that matter, does Hawke change clothes?

I do not support good/bad aligned armor. I do support bad-ass, good-looking armor.

Dichotomy based systems are too narrow & bottleneck you like Fable.

I at least hope mages have better options than in DA:O. I get tired of bathrobes.

Yes, I did till they made the 3th one.

I hope DA2 won't be like that.

Is this directed at me?
I don't remember saying any such things.
All I said was most armour that people consider badarse I consider ridiculous.

Bathrobes make for excellent Jedi robes.

Ah yes, a question of asthetics...I'm sure Bioware will do the impossible and design plenty of armors that will satisfy the various tastes of millions of purchasers...yeah, good luck! After NWN 1's armors, anything looks nice as far as I am concerned. I do hope they give a larger variety of robes for mages, they furry shoulders were everywhere and I am very much anti-furry shoulders!

Okie doke.

...

Okay for males I'm seeing massive shoulder pads and lost of unnecessary spikes.
For females I'm just seeing the standard chainmail bikini.

Indeed, That is what comes closes to bad-arse but for bad-arsse armor you'll need some black armor with a cloack and a hood faded in the black mist.

Like that for playing evil characters you see what i'm getting at?

Then again that won't be happening so i'll just be happy as long as they don't put in boots as hats.

So far, I think the armor looks pretty silly. The landscapes in the new style seem okay. Kirkwall looks good. The armor and the characters/creatures, not so much--at least to my personal taste. But maybe there'll be stuff I like better in-game.

It's far more stylized and unqiue
The PC no longer looks like a Generic Plate Wearer which i think is great for fantasy settings
