Anyone notice this about BW games

The reason they're usually single is that it makes more sense for a single person to run around tossing themselves at dragons. If you're in a relationship, especially marriage, especially if you have children, you're presumed to have other responsibilities.
I lost my paladin dude in BG 2 because he returned home to his wife.

I got to control him and he had dialog and plot, leveled up, had inventory .. seemed like a full companion to me.. he just happend to die early...
anyways he was just my last one. I threw out examples. Bioware is not against it. The majority are single, yes but not all. and since we get less and less companions each go round, there is less chance to get the non-single companions

I think a better opening would have
been haven't you noticed that most BW games feature single people who
are in their 20s but are played by people in their 30s

How about the fact most characters are in their 20s?
But played by people in their thirties

This is the second thread that has failed horribly due to putting "always" in the premise.
And equaled by it's lack of DA2 discussion.

I get teary eyed in Fable II/III when my children tell my hero/heroine that "I don't remember seeing you ever" when I first meet them when they've turned from furniture requiring dancing/burping for entertainment into an actual NPC.caradoc2000 wrote...
