Son, don't make someone drop the mod bomb.  Fact is, the community here is very strongly anti-multiplayer, at least for ME3.  Many of us would love to see a multiplayer spinoff eventually, but if we're going to get the best single-player experience possible, we can't afford the devs wasting time on multiplayer.  Not saying it couldn't be done, but most would rather not take the risk.

I perfectly understood what you meant and the answer is still a big no.
For multiplayer to be implemented resources would have to be spent on it.
Resources that could be spent on more important things like dialogue for characters/companions etc.

And like I said, the existence of multiplayer means resources would have to be spent on it, resources that could be spent on more important features.

If you want multiplayer play a game thats designed properly to accomodate multiplayer.

Thing is, they won't push the release date back.  Casey Hudson, the project director, has said this multiple times that they're aiming for a release date in late 2011/early 2012. (Somebody help me out with a source, Google is failing me.)

Oh, jeez.  Okay, fine, listen to this: I LOVE co-op games.  I really do.  Mass Effect co-op would be epic.  HOWEVER, I stand by what I said before: we need all possible resources devoted to making the best single-player experience possible.  Mass Effect 3 needs to finish what ME1 started.  Multiplayer would only be a gimmick.

Okay, I'll post something positive about multiplayer in ME3: It doesn't exist, and never will. There you go, that's positive, isn't it?

Anyway, you missed my above post where I explained why they wouldn't push the release date back.  They said the game will come out two years after ME2, then it will come out two years after ME2.  This isn't StarCraft 2 or Gran Turismo 5: Bioware likes to deliver when it says it will.  Sometimes, quality suffers because of that, but that's what patches and DLC are for.

Therefore, because they are aiming for late 2011/early 2012, they simply will not have time to add a multiplayer option.

It appears you have no friggin' clue how to make video games. Single-player games that have a multiplayer option forced into it afterwards suck beyond the telling of it. Why? Because some features won't work properly (if at all) because the game was not designed specifically with multiplayer in mind. A good multiplayer game that allows for single-player gameplay needs to be designed with both in mind from the get-go. If they're focusing on multiplayer features, they are spending less time on single-player details, hence making the singe-player option that much less enjoyable.

So again, this is a big NO for multiplayer for Mass Effect 3.
