There are now only 2 specs, epic sword swinging, and epic fast sword swinging.

The differences are negligible, but you do get to choose between a long and short sword... at the beginning of the game.

But, when you start button mashing, the differences become obvious.

I play a rogue all the time myself and really enjoy being a rogue.  I use Shadow all the time in Awakenings as well.  I'd hate to see that heartseeker talent taken away.  I love that talent and I hope it's not gone for rogues.   I'm wondering if we'll be able to use Isabela's swashbuckling talent....have the opportunity to learn this spec.

I hope they keep some of Awakening's Rogue talents as well, I especially liked the one where your Warden could teleport all over the field to stab enemies in the back.

As for learning the talents of your companions, it isn't possible they are unique to them. But you can make your Duelist unique as well by adding points to the talents you want, and this time you can also add more points to talents you like.

it could be that "flicker" is an upgrade of "backstab" shown at the developer diary video where the rogue disappears and appears from behind an enemy to...backstab it:P.

Could be possible...
Or maybe its a weak version of 'flicker' where you can only stab 1 or 2 guys.
Or it's a different technique alltogether.

Yes but I hope they also change it some way.
Like you can harness the powers off the Spirit that helps you for attack, defence, ect.

i hope if it does come back, the warrior looks better than an transparent figure of himself with lucid eye balls and beard.

if anything i'd like the spirit/fade shroud to look like this

i think it would at least be more in tone with the class description:

"Although spirit warriors employ magical abilities, they are not mages; instead, they flirt with inhabitants of the Fade who agree to augment mortal abilities in exchange for a glimpse of the physical world. Naturally, the Chantry's templars rarely acknowledge that distinction."

Harnessing the powers of demons would be more for Blood Mage's.
Spirit Warriors harness the powers of the good Fade spirits I think, like the Spirit of Valor and Spirits like it, I think.

true. suppose a demon wouldnt settle for a 'sneak peak' into the mortal world.

You... Make a lot of extra posts themageguy...
But yes, if a Spirit Warrior was to summon a demon, then I don't think he would settle for a sneak peek either. Sure it would give the Warrior some of it's powers, but as soon as he or she is weary and hurt from, he or she will be too weak to fight back the demon. And the demon will take over his or her body whitout a second thought.

some abilities i'd like for spirit warrior if it's one of the specializations (most are wishful thinking but whatever):

the ability of normal attacks having increased range while the weapon is coated in the spirit cloak.

having the spirit above the character like in the picture attack enemies as well.

having the ability to throw magic projectiles (though that might be overkill but like i said these are mostly wishful thinking)

cons to having this specialization: the spirit cloak would drain your stamina rapidly making your character stamina dependable and maybe like wynne when the cloak dissipates you would have some injuries due to this form making it a risk to use. with long cooldowns as well.

maybe something like encountering a group of spirits who wish to test their mettle by fighting against worthy mortals and after proving your worth you could convince them to merge with you when the need arises to provide the spirits a good challenge.

That would make aquiring a specialization a lot more interesting!

Would love for an updated shapeshifter spec, definitely my favourite spec out of all of them.

turning into a high dragon would be cool, but it would introduce size and clipping issues on locations and would have to have serious cons to be balanced, but i'd still want to see it one day though:whistle:
