I wonder if the Witcher boards are full of the same complaints? Or it's okay for them as they never designed a whole bunch of awesome PC optimised RPG's.

Are you kidding? This is the internet, and they're changing something.

Well, If they are changing click once on the enemy to swing sword 5 times, click again to swing it another 5 times then thats definitely a good thing.  I just thought it was so incredibly stupid

Its become fashionable to bash TW2 on these boards. People can rest assured its an isolated collection of opinions. Surf the net and guess what? Most people are more impressed with TW2 than DA2.

F**k, I'm definitely playing HR first if they're released on the same day

Just listen to that soundtrack, this has the potential of being better even than the original

I will get both, but I probably won't play DE until after beating DA2 a couple times. It also depends on how good the new Mortal Kombat game is.

Really? Most comments I've seen from The Witcher 2 were "ZOMG BOOBIES".

Regardless of whether or not these two games come out the same day, it'll throw a wrench into the question of who is the clear-cut RPG of the year and GOTY of 2011.

Hah, the main choices are The Witcher 2 and Deus Ex: HR. DA2 looks like it won't stand a chance against them, especially The Witcher 2.

For GOTY there's still games like Portal 2, Arkham City, L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3 and Crysis 2 coming in 2011

I disliked what I saw of DEHR. I want guns to feel like Guns. FONV did that well. This sci-fing guns just makes them pack less punch and feel more like they shoot darts than bullets.

Witcher 2 looks f***ing amazing. It is the ONLY European RPG I know of that manages to pull of good gameplay without sacrificing good graphics. That, by itself, is an automatic win. I didn't like the feel of the first Witcher, but this one looks much brighter and glossier.

What do I know of DA2? Absolutely nothing. I haven't seen any gameplay or story elements worth mentioning. Then why is it the only game out of the 3 mentioned that I have pre-ordered? Because DAO was so f***ing awesome.

Really the Witcher 2 looks great, though what I've been seeing from the gameplay that it looks a bit too scripted; the characters don't seem lifelike, there's no emotion in their speech.

And the main characters voice does not seem fitting to the person, for some reason.

EDIT:  Dude, now I'm not even browising the Sarif Industries site, I just have that window minimized so I can listen to the music.

But that's not being impressed with TW2, that's being impressed by boobs. I'm sure a lot of these guys would want to buy a game with boobs in it, including My Little Pony: Hormones Edition.

True enough. I'm not even planning on getting The Witcher 2, and yet I wished DA2 could be such a sequel.

Arkham style combat could definitely lure me to buy the game. If they actually added batman as the PC it would be a mortal lock.

I should give witcher another bash some time, I just wasn't even slightly interested in anything it was saying. Plus the name still annoys me.

If you're referring to the 'Leaked Internal Video', those voices were done by the developers themselves, just for the sake of the vid. If you're talking about the trailers released, well, that's a different story.

Dave. There's more to the game than ******. Just like the first one. But ****** have a mesmerizing effect on some people. If you can't see past the ******, then I guess the games not for you.

Besides the item/menu system, my opinion of the Witcher is quite similar to that of Zero Punctuation's review.  I'm glad they are improving the combat, but it doesnt look like they are changing the 'dark and mature tone', which I didnt find mature at all; I found it juvenile.  But again, I didnt get too far into the game

Yeah keep browsing and a "intruder detected" flash popup will come up, and you have to use your arrow keys to find hidden files while avoiding the diagnostic file.  When you find everything you'll get hidden specs on weapons and such and you can download them.
