I've been following the mutiltude of retread "previews" from everyone and I cannot figure why BW is waiting still to release any *actual* gameplay of DA2, especially for the PC. It's a whopping 37 days till the Signature Edition deadline and 95% of what is known is pieced together, conjecture, random dev comments and bad gameplay that was not *officialy* released by BW.

Is it that unrealistic of me to expect something just a bit more definitive that what little they have graciously granted us? Seriously here, if they are expecting us to plunk down $60+ dollars on the game it ain't gonna happen on faith alone, at least that's how I see it.

It's not at all unrealistic. And it's coming quite soon. Not soon enough for some, I'm sure.

Hopefully it'll allieve many of the fears of the players...

That would be pleasant, yes. I'd rather be talking about something visual, rather than trying to explain it. If we could have had this footage out sooner, we would have, but I'm keenly aware that people want to see -real- gameplay, and so that's what we're preparing.

I hate to think they're slaving over a hot keyboard, day in and day out, just to alleviate our fears.

I would describe the chances as exceptionally high.

Unless you guys ****** me off in the coming days, in which case it will just be a montage of explosions from Michael Bay movies, punctuated by Alistair riding a rocket-powered surfboard into the sun...

...which will then explode.

Don't worry , allevating fears of the customers regarding your product is a proven way to make them more likely to buy it, which what these guys (and girls) are being paid for.

Any chance we can have both?

Already giving himself wiggle room. (kidding) Appreciate the efforts to get it out there. (PC footage that is)

You can't have your cake and eat it too. I'd prefer the gameplay footage myself.

Hopefully it will be out before the January deadline on the Signature Edition. I think a lot of people are worried about buying the pig in the sack and a proper gameplay video might just put those fears to rest.

I for one would happily pay £30 for a pig in a sack.

Think if the opportunities that would give for "sweeping cinematics" though.

And if you could push a button to make Alistair's surfboard explode, that could count as "push a button and something awesome happens".

It would make some people happy, at least.

Is the pig a love interest? Is the pig wearing realistic armor? How much can we customize the pig we get?

I had a feeling it would be, but good to see it confirmed either way, thanks Mike. Although you would think that you couldn't cancel a pre-order anymore hanging around here...

*Snerk*

You forgot: "Who does the pig's voice? Will the pig be in the exaggerated part? Will I be able to interact with the pig for longer than 10 minutes before Varric tells me what happened next?"

All pertinent questions for the inquiring mind!
