I thought it would be interesting to see what game(s) you guys are playing atm. Please include a sentence or two with your impressions of the game(s) :)

Personally I am replaying Gothic I  atm. Good RPG worth recommending. Open world with a great atmosphere and fairly good graphics for its time(2001). The combat is probably the weakest part of the game, but there are so many strong features in the game that it shouldn't bother you too much :)

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Dragon Age: Awakening.

SC rocks, huge leap from Pandora Tomorrow (compared to SC from SC2), but Sam Fisher got so many instagib moves it sometimes hard to do a pacifist run (spine snap-kick instead the pistol whip move, damn you Muscle Memory!)

Well, duh, I'm only forcing myself to go through Awakening again and again because I need the world saves.

Battle for Middle Earth 2, Star Wars Empire at War, Tomb Raider Anniversary, FIFA11, tried playing CoD: Black Ops but didn't find it enjoyable.

Out of all of them I'm really enjoying BFME2 again. I let the game sit on my shelf for about a year and decided to reinstall it again on my new computer! I love it! It still has an active community (although I heard that the online is shutting down soon :().

Batman: Arhkam Asylum and Medieval 2: Total War

Batman's nice, I enjoy the combat system and how fluid it feels. The story so far is a pretty typical Batman fare, nothing to write home about, but not too painful either.

The whole Total War series is all kinds of awesome and Medieval 2 is no exception. One drawback is that it takes a long, long time to finish a campaign.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing quality game, but as it goes on I'm starting to like it less and less. The bosses get more and more annoying, the Riddler challenges get more and more irritating and it just becomes a bit of a pain. I doubt I'm far from the end, though. Got a few gripes with the gadgets but overall it's been a fairly enjoyable experience.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2
Really not far into it. The combat seems a bit more difficult than it was in KotOR, but again I'm still enjoying it.

Dawn of War 2
Almost always indifferent about it. I just can't push myself to get through it.

Puzzle Quest 2
Can't be bothered most of the time.

Mass Effect: It is like my 5 playthough but this time with an Adept. Mostly I'm just trying to finish up the power and companion achievements before I start up my Hardcore and Insanity run.

Dragon Age: Origins--Awakening: I'm continuing the story of my Human Noble Warrior, Shepard Cousland. So far, not as exciting as Origins, but I love the cameos from Origins' characters.

Marvel vs Capcom 2: Getting myself ready for Marvel vs Capcom 3. Plan on preordering the collectors edition when i can find the money.

Call of Duty Black OPS: once i finish the achievements i'm probably going to trade it in because it just doesn't grasp me. Maybe I have no interest in COD.

Fable 3: Nothing special, maybe once I finsih my second playthrough and complete all of the achievements might trade it in. However that dlc is calling my name, though that bad reviews.

Exactly how I felt about Arkham Asylum. I dumped quite a few hrs into the combat challenges, way more than the main campaign.

Mostly the "wait for the video card to get back from RMA" game. Might play some Borderlands with my friends when it gets back, maybe finally get some 4 player action going on. From there, probably a second run through of New Vegas, then one of the following: Batman, Witcher, ME1+2, Nehrim, or STALKER Call of Pripyat.

Until then I might get into the Humble Indie Bundle I got months ago.

King's Bounty The Legend mostly. Game is the ****. Really takes me back to the days of playing HoMM2. Game is really closer to 3 but I didn't play that one as much.

Also playing Oblivion mostly out of self obligation. I've yet to see the end of it or any of the xpac. Game is way too long and combat, dialog, and areas become boring way too fast. If I don't get threw the game this run I doubt I ever will. =(

Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal, though I'm practically finished. Very linear, but I've enjoyed it. It's been more challenging for me(I suspect because I didn't invest a lot of time or thought into character/party builds and D&D) and I actually started to care about what my character was doing, unlike in Shadows of Amn which feels like one giant side quest of bashing things.

Also I've started playing Neverwinter Nights 2. It isn't quite as good as I was expecting after others impressions on these forums. I'm not really appreciating being forced into having specific party members. There's very few if any logical reasons or motivations for doing the things you do. And the camera is buggy and annoying. But, it's still an alright game.

NWN2 Is pointless trash till about chapter two, then you start to get characters you don't hate having around and the story stops being complete chicken crap. King of Shadows never stops being a dumb name however.

It also has one of the best base building side quest I've seen in anyway game.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood: Its good but I spend too long messing around and not really progressing.

NHL11: Despite EA's most recent patch screwing the game up in a couple of ways I still enjoy it when I just want to relax.

I'm coming up to exams at university, so I don't have a lot on the go these days except the following.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Meh, I'm only playing this because of friends

Castlevania Harmony of Despair: I like it a fair bit, but can only play it once and awhile.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations: Pretty much my fav game at the moment. I can't get enough of Phoenix. Really hope Capcom and Level 5 localize Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright for the 3DS.

Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter

I do not think I would recommend it, would rather recommend the first Ghost Recon or GRAW 2. GRAW's AI is something terrible

And I am trying to finish up Morrowind's main quest.

I'm not really playing anything much at the moment... but once and a while I'll play a bit of...

KOTOR 2 and ME2. Both are pretty decent games. :)

I'm planning to get Planescape Torment off of gog.com once I get some free time though.

Sims 3 - It's helluva more fun than I thought it would be. Having a pizza boy constantly stalking one of my female sims never gets old.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Storywise, I'm a bit disappointed when I compare it to the 1st BC, as it changed in feel quite a bit. I loved the not quite serious nature of the original. Overall however, the full package is great.

Battlefield 1943 - Got it with Bad Company 2: Ultimate Edition. A bit problematic to find a game sometimes, but when I do, it's a blast. Surprisingly, I'm doing best as a sniper, a class I suck terribly at in most games.
