ME... trying to do another "canon" playthrough and it's quite a chore... I'm constantly reloading every single conversation because the dialogue isn't transparent and there's no convo history... hope they fix that for ME3!

I've spent the past week or so mostly just playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. It's a blast...not normally one for racing games, but the fact that it's more "kill or be killed" than racing is a big plus in my book.

As for what I NEED to play (again): Dead Space, Dragon Age, Mass Effect (and ME2), Civilization V, Fable 3, Alan Wake

Ive got a few installed that i rotate through at the moment..

Sims 3.. its alot more enjoyable and less "work" than previous editions, the open world and deleting the number of friends required for promotion in work really improves the game

HOI 2 - Arsenal of democracy... The best edition of hearts of iron 2 currently available, my panzers have currently smashed through the soviet front line with my romanian allies while the italians are advancing unchecked in africa. Not to mention london, moscow, san francisco, Washington DC and New york have disappeared under mushroom clouds.. interestingly most of the usa has rebelled and the confederate states of america have been re-estabilished

Silent hunter 4... nothing quite like stalking Japanese convoys for hours then striking and the tension of trying to avoid the destroyers hunting you.

DAO.. playing the wole game, DLC, expansion from scratch again.. hopefully the awakening bugs wont annoy me so much that i uninstall it again

Super Meat Boy (PC) - stuck on the third boss fight... this game is one of the hardest things I've ever played

ME 1+2 (PC) - working on my canon female character

Afterwards I wanna do the entire Monkey Island series again, one after another (including Tales of MI) ^_^

Nehrim (a total conversion mod for Oblivion).

Has a strong Gothic vibe going, though is also different.

Has a fairly strong central storyline (Oblivion can't even start to compare) and long, unique side-quests - though not too many of them. Oh and a HUGE, beautiful world for exploration with every detail placed by hand (supposedly literally, even every tree was separately planted). With unique treasures that greatly reward exploration.

Almost 100 hrs in and still early in the main questline.

Oh and significantly improved mechanics compared with Oblivion (you mostly gain skill points from trainers after level-ups, training by using is reduced to marginal effects and you gain levels from quests and kills rather then from skill usage) and no level scaling of enemies.

The beginning can be off-putting for some (others call it atmospheric). It was for me. It's arcade-y, linear and long. The intended "tension" was annoying. But once you break free into the awesome open world, things start looking better. It's actually one of the very few games that feel more interesting and better as you play it and progress through it. Many surprising wonders await in that wide, open world. The game is so good that even the Oblivion combat mechanic stopped annoying me now...

Replaying DA:O.
Also replaying Starcraft 2 and I dont care if people are saying that its overrated IMO its amazing.
Fallout:NV, I finished it but there is still so much to do and there are some great mods that add alot to the replay value.

most recently FIFA11. The AI really cheats at higher difficulties (as in: higher diffuculty = less fouls called against the AI, more against you) but still enjoyable overall.

Came pretty close to falling into that trap again as well. Uninstalling fixed that, though.

Playing through the dawn of war series, picked 'em all up cheap and damn there's some fine voicework in them. Somebody should hire the Dobson brothers for DA2.

Alpha Protocol is one of those games that is both excellent and terrible at the same time. I liked it because of the story, choices, characters etc but it's really amazing how bad the game is if you think about it.

It's a guilty pleasure really, like a crappy Sci-Fi channel sequel that you know is bad but you enjoy anyways.

Black Ops: For the lulz. Seems like FPS is the only thing with multiplayer these days. I wouldn't recommend the game much since there's really no significant improvement to the franchise. However, the combat training AI is absolutely phenomenal. Playing against bots is a freakin' blast, they act and respond very appropriately to situations, and the price of the game is almost worth this one feature...almost.

Rainbow Six: New Vegas 2: Again, because I need games to play with friends.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Same as the two before. Mostly play Onslaught mode with friends. Waiting for the Vietnam expansion this month. Ohhhhhh, yeah!

DA:O: On and off my 3rd/4th plays. I find myself getting bored with it now pretty easily.

And a bunch of other games on and off. Faery was decent, I'll probably replay that soon.

Uninstalled and binned almost everything to do with it, only reason i can play atm is due to free download (trail) and i still have the game codes (i,e can download all of wow, 1st and 2nd add on free aslong as you have the box codes still) and getting cata gives me 1 month to play on it, wouldn't have touched it but i'm intrested in the new stuff, and nothing at all thats out single player wise thats worth getting till feb/march of next year >.<, pvp side of things is what intrests me the most atm.

Will power alot stronger to not waste years on it then when i was younger, cause i know bar 2-3 patchs for new raids, after you finished it, will be nothing but the same again, so just want to enjoy the new pvp battleground system that i use to love years ago, have no intrest in raids in that game.

Join the club, sir. Those were my thoughts exactly and I also got very dissapointed when Sega shut it down since the game has a very nice plot and script destroyed by a quite bad gameplay. They could have fixed that in a sequel and give us more Mike Thorton adventures but I guess sales were not good at all.

I wish some day, some company would rescue the franchise.

You weren't lying. Just bought it last night on Direct 2 Drive and I've played around three hours already. Wow, it's brutal. Not very punishing though, thanks to the 'micro levels'. The result is that I'm having a really good time. I might even finish Super Meat Boy before I finish Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal.
