being european myself

I am sorry to hear that. Would a hug make you feel better?

P.S.
That was a joke

I couldn't see Europe in that picture without stretching the land a lot in my mind's eye... So nope doesn't look like it... And you'd probably be surprised how many sections of the world, when zoomed in on, have as similar a shape...

And that the map needed to be flipped upside down to even make it seem like it resembles Europe. While not taking into account its only a fraction of that land mass. We dont know what is off to the south, west and north.

Lol, Italy is famous for looking like a boot - has for a long time now!

Whereas that thing sticking out on upsidedown thedas-land looks like a wooden leg or a pinball flipper.

given that I was born in Padova, Italy, I'd know that.....point being that unless Hawke wears 12 inches heels boots then no, italy does not look like his goddamn boots

Lol, a nerve has been hit with you!  If it makes you feel better I never thought they did look like his boots.

EDIT: I see, you thought I was responding to you - I was responding to the guy above.

My grandmother was born in Rome and was elected by her class to personally give flowers - on behalf of her school - to Mussolini. Later she emigrated to America. Also, I think Silvio Berlusconi is hilarious. Wait, what were we talking about?

But if he lays off the Viagra, how will he have his fun with his many professional ladyfriends before supporting their election to parliament?!

Real inventive huh?

not trying to troll or anything, just thought this was kinda funny

I can see Ferelden being in roughly the right spot, and possibly Antiva/Rivain being approximately where one would expect to find Spain. But Orlais is French and the Anderfels is German and... well, I'm not sure what you think this proves. If you're suggesting that physically Thedas is an upside-down Europe that's... quite a stretch, to say the least.

As a European, I agree with David. :wizard:

As another european, I'll have to agree with my fellow european and mister Gaider that Thedas doesn't really look very similar. I mean sure there are maybe some uber vague likeness here and there, but still not very similar.
