Hello;

I started having trouble trying to play Mass Effect after reinstalling it. The game was working fine before reinstalling.

Initially the problem was for Mass Effect 2 error 'awc.dll'; after searching the forum I found a resolution that involved downloading Adobe Air then reinstalling Mass Effect 2.

During the uninstall of Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect was also uninstalled.

Now Mass Effect 2 appears to be working but Mass Effect is giving an error that "Mass Effect Configuration Utility has stopped working."

I have tried reinstalling it once more thinking it was an error in the downloading but to no avail.

I am using an Acer Aspire 7552 running on Windows 7
Processor: AMD Phenom II N930 Quad-Core 2.00 GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB DDR3 Memory
ATI Mobile Radeon HD 5650

What can I do to resolve this issue?

At least OP went to the effort of providing system specs.
Install the 1.02 patch if you havent done so. If you have and it still crashes, give details on your hardware specs, OS version, game version, the works.
