wo....wait a minute.
everything can change from now until march?
3 months from release and the game is not in feature lockdown already?
Feature lockdown does not mean that things can't be cut if they can't be made to function properly. That's what polish is all about: making features/content work or cutting them.

ohhhhh ok, I interpreted your initial statement as "if it does not worl this way we will change it" as opposed to "if it does not work this way it will be cut"
ok...golden.
now, since the game is being polished, is NG+ one of the features being tested? Got ANY any news on it (I know I sound like a broken record worse than Broklolly....still....pretty please?)

Can it be done per character, or is it a global option. What if I hate Hawk's helmet but love another persons?
Companion outfits are static. They won't be wearing helmets, most likely.
Yeah, Aveline will wear an apron all of her life and we will wear helmets and big fuzzy armor. But i like the armor! <_<

I get that you're being sarcastic, but I can't tell what you're being sarcastic about.

For us helmet lovers (yes, helmets are my primary reason behind playing RPGs), will the helmets still hide during dialogue even when toggled on ? In some dialogues (say, outside Flemeth's hut or in town), I found it normal for helmets to be hidden, but in the Deep Roads or during a quest or battle, I'd rather see my party with their awesome helmets !
Laidlaw said that helmets would function in conversation the same way they did in Origins if you have the toggle switched on.

I didn't realize this bug the first time I initiated a romance scene. Apparently this Warden's idea of "safe sex" is wearing full Warden Commander's Plate when he does the deed.

I'll believe it when I see it... still butthurt over the iso-view retraction.
That's unfair to the finely crafted political speech that Mike gave. He never said there would be an iso camera - he basically almost came out and said it was cut - and only added that a camera would zoom out more than on console and "potentially" be free-roam. For what it's worth, it was the more fervent supporters of DA2 on the forum that took that to mean a varant of the iso-cam was confirmed instead of cut.

I only said iso-cam so I wouldn't have to say "camera that can detach from the player and roam freely," which he did basically say would be there, except with no guarantees, just like he's saying now.

I see. Well, this is a thread he started to say "feature confirmed" which is a little different from "we're currently experiment with a feature".

Well, the one in the apron will likely have upgraded to actual armor by the time you have Hawke running around in full plate, so it likely won't look so out of place.ankuu wrote...

I was not sarcasticAlmost...I love Lady Hawke's armor for example, it's beautiful in its design. But how will a character look with armor + helmet next to one that has an apron?
But anyway i am happy that this toggle thingy will exist

While I admit that what he said afforded are greater deal of uncertainty than "it looks very likely," I still feel it was certain enough in wording to justify the extent of my disappointment when he decided to go back on it. And to justify my wariness of any future non-guarantees.
