I want to see Veetor back. Why? Because his character arc can go in three different directions. He could be:



Crazier-Because of the Cerberus treatment and other traumas.



His Normal Self-Because you gave him back to Tali.



Confident-Because you rallied the crowd.



I want to see something like the last option. Seeing Veetor doing a 180 and having his swagger on one hundred thousand trillion could be one of highlights of ME3. Imagine Veetor mackin' on some quarian gals (maybe even Tali). Another meme in the making I tell you!

The one character I really really really wanted to talk to more was the "Tank Grown Krogan" on Grunt's RM. His lines and delivery were really cool, I thought. "I'm not perfect, but I have purpose." He came off like a very introspective krogan, something you don't tend to see much of.

Bailey at c-sec. He had a few lines that really gave him depth, especially the one that went something like "the drell isnt the only one whose let his son down" or something along those lines, during Thane's LM.

Any and all information brokers. The whole struggle for information networks and power was really interesting to me. All shadow organizations fighting for positions (I count pre-Liara SB, Aria, Cerberus sortve, etc)

Aria specifically.

Anderson. He had his part in me1, but his teenie tiny role in ME2 was a letdown.



And I found alot of the sub-bosses interesting, but Shep is forced to kill them all. Like Garm, and Tarak and that one girl from Grunt's RM (the one trying to build a Krogan army, forgot her name). Its a neat thing to see whose actually leading these merch groups, instead of them just... Being there.

Admiral Hackett for sure, an awesome character. Oh, and the mechanic Lilihierax from Noveria. He was pretty cool. Lorik Qu'in should also come back. Our situation was very fortuitious...

I can't believe I didn't mention the Rainbow Drell and Mr. Surly in my first post for this thread, this must be immediately rectified! D:

FERON and KOLYAT. Surely, complete lack of them in ME3 would turn out lethal for me and many others!

This question is difficult to the point of being diabolical.  It's like asking me which of my fingers I'd least like to chop off.  I really enjoy all the minor characters and hope that I can see them all again in ME3, but I also realise that might be asking too much.

But if I had to choose 1, it has to be this guy:



Of all the characters, Conrad Verner is the one that forces me to reflect on how I'm playing Shepard. He's like coming through a looking glass darkly, some terrifying funhouse reflection.

Honourable mentions - Aria, Aethyta, Captain Bailey and...I can't believe no one mentioned this...Captain Anderson.

Edit - Just returned and read the below post.  True, Captain Anderson is probably too important to be considered a recurring character, but it's just that a lot of people mentioned Admiral Hackett as a recurring character.  My bad.

I wouldn't mind seeing Giana Parasini again as well, but maybe more in a plot context than she had in ME2, which felt like pure fanservice and a little jarring.

I think it would be a must to have Shiala come back for some story content dealing with Zhu's Hope. As a romance option? no, even though there was a hint of that in ME2. I think Parasini should come back for some "getting past red tape" type of story line.
