I can't tell how old Hawke is though.

My guess is he starts out around 20-23 and ends up 30-33 and guess at 16 or 17 for his siblings. Will be interesting to see what their ages really are.

Your Hawk in Dragon Age 2. I assume the guy in the trailer is the default appearence though.

The guy in the cinematic trailer looks a bit younger (and has a slightly more rakish appearance IMO) than in-game Hawke from the Rise to Power trailer.

Oh, that's true. I wonder how old we'll be able to make Hawke look... I mean, you could create a really old Cousland with grey beard and deep wrinkles and Fergus would still call him 'little brother.' I kind of hope we won't have the ability to make Hawke look like someone's grandfather or grandmother - even if that could be cool it could take away a lot of credibility.

Hawk seem to be 23-27.So 25 seem quite fair.

If Hawke is 20-23, then I expect his siblings would be 17-20. I can't see someone waiting six years between children.

Of course, Hawke might have a number of younger siblings who never made it to adulthood.

You can still make Hawke look old.

Mid-twenties is sounding like a safe bet. Anyone know if this question will ever be answered by one of the makers of the game or just speculated and implied? It's a good question as to how old Bethany and Carver are though. My bet was if Hawk is 25, Beth and Carver would be between 19-21.

I'm very much hoping the game doesn't actually tell us Hawke's age, thus leaving it to us to determine as we see fit.

I figure if he's 20 his sister could be 16.  I can see a 4 year gap.  As you said there could have been others, and some probably wouldn't survive.

Really?  It's by no means unheard of, and I wouldn't even say it's particularly uncommon.

My gf is 8 years younger than her sister.

I've got a friend whose niece is older than his little brother. High age differences between siblings are not unheard of.
