Soris' Wedding Clothes

I would like to keep it for my character, but it always seems to disappear when you reach Ostagar whether carried in the backpack or worn (the Warden appears naked if she was wearing it when she left Denerim).
So the question is of course, is there any way to keep this dress?

try storing it in some chest in your home or anywhere in the alienage. When you go back maybe you can collect it?

Doesn't work, as the areas are separate and only one storage chest in the game.
Without mods, you can't stop his outfit being removed. You'd have to find the script that destroys it and comment out that line.

Can you keep the clothes if you have them equipped when leaving Denerim? Might look odd meeting Cailan in a wedding dress, but still.
Nope. I tried and my Tabris met Cailan in her smalls. I'm only thankful that I hadn't gotten around to installing natural bodies when it happened.

I always meet Cailan in my wedding dress. For that matter, that's how I kill Archie as well. If I snuff Loghain at Landsmeet then he dies looking at my dress.
My city elves really do not like having their wedding interrupted.
Edit to add: That's the PC Warden's dress. Soris' wedding costume always vanishes. Which is a pity as it is attractive. I recently installed siramod's all equipment mod, so I might try to retrieve it that way.

Well, he repays you in full if you have NB installed in RtO....

if you play on the PC and have "the Winter Forge" you can make this dress (and several others) in various different colors. The clothes shown here were made with Winter Forge using "Satin Blue" material.
Lovely dress! And Teaaaaagaaaaaaaaan!!!
I got rid of WF. Too many invisible objects!

LOL and that's just Alistair with Teagan hair in the pic. The scene is part of Cmessaz's IRS-Alistair mod. Hmmm I should get out my BannHammerstair head morph and goof off for some photos !

I find WF far too useful to delete. I can take armor, remodel it to look completely different, take swords and turn them into daggers (or vice versa) and using the Universal Dye kit, color coordinate everything. I get the occasional invisible object, but I have learned how to make them disappear from my game. I save in another slot and the object disappears, letting me go on my way.

I'll have to try WF again. Invisible objects are just such DEAL BREAKERS.

The dress as seen in this picture looks kind of dull. It really shines on my screen, like emerald or jade... That's why I wanted it.
It's funny how clothes frequently look better on the opposite sex from the character originally wearing them. My favorite male clothes are those that Marjolaine is wearing when you kill her. Incidentally, it's the same suit worn by Arl Eamon.

I still cringe at the human noble pants. Nice pair of boots . . . working our way up . . . loose and baggy at the knees and thighs with fashionable colors . . . OUCH THE CROTCH! IT'S TOO TIGHT! I'M NOT A UNICK (needs spell check)!
But actually Marjolaine's clothes are what I dress Alistair in on my playthroughs where I marry him off to Anora and take Loghain in my party. They do suit him.

LOL! I totally agree about the male noble clothes and the crotch area! XD
As for clothes on the opposite gender...when I first got the game I tried to put Morrigan's clothes on my male mage and was exceedingly disappointed to find out that they were for Morrigan only. I was imagining how sexy that outfit would look on a male.

"Eunuch". Not being snarky. I just enjoy giving out random spellings.
On topic, I've never gotten Soris' clothes to stay in my inventory even if my character was wearing them. Nothing like walking up to Cailan in 'my' underpants

Not feeeling snarked at all - I appreciate it. I'll likely remember it now.
I've only played EC twice, and only to Kokari Wilds. But I think I got to keep Soris' Weding Clothes.
