A combination of red and black hair would suit her methinks. As for the style, it would likely range somewhere between something goth or punk.

Even though I've already voiced my opinion on this topic (a clear and resounding HELL NO to her having hair) pretty much axl99's is the main reason why she shouldn't grow her hair longer than a milllimeter.axl99 wrote...
Jack having hair is not the issue. Jack growing hair of her own volition doesn't suddenly mean that her character is ruined. I'll expand on that in a bit.
It's why some people think she needs to have hair. "Because it'd make her physically attractive and slightly more appealing." Same reason why some people think Jack looks better with some clothes on.
The issue here is that Jack as a character does not want to appeal to people. She wants them to go away because she doesn't want to get involved with anyone. That's what the developers are trying to convey with her appearance. Giving Jack anything beyond a crewcut would contradict her efforts to do just that. Because her behaviour tends to manifest itself physically.
Like I said before, they've already gone through the Jack having hair phase in her concept art. It didn't work for her character. Nuff said.
Personally I don't care if Jack does grow out of her crewcut by a millimeter, but I'd rather the developers not be cajoled into giving her hair just because of a clash in individual aesthetics.
All this talk of making her 'sexy' and conforming to peoples standards in women in my opinion speaks volumes about the people saying such things.
Even if we're talking about where Jack could be going through the whole paragon romance, it just wouldn't work. Anyone claiming they did the paragon romance in such a manner that they hoped they could turn her into a beautiful butterfly clearly doesn't understand she already is. She doesn't need to grow hair for that. Seriously, do you really think she is going to grow hair just for Shepard's (your) sake?
Also I seriously doubt the developers are going to have it so that she looks different depending on whether you romanced her or not (seeing as when you think of it, the romance option is the only way you could state there was a change in her).
The only thing that would need to happen regarding any appearance she has in ME3 is that if she is a squadmate besides her usual outfits she needs a 'hazardous' outfit (just like most the other squadmates) that is used when out in hazardous areas or areas where no skin should be open to the elements where Shep has to wear full suited armor (Quarian Vessels, the collector ship, the planets where shep (and Garrus and Grunt) wearing full helmet.
Keep her outfits and keep her haircut

Ah, but Jack would never use it on her head. She'd use it on her armpits. To be a rebel.
How far would she go being a rebel. Testosterone for facial hair maybe.
To answer the OP. Yes hair is good but bald is ok too. Maybe spikey short hair.

At any rate like I said time and time again if made it should be optional. And it's due to curiousity. While Jack's visual style certainly makes her unique, her personality is the most important part. I don't see why a little hair is so scary for the majority of Jack fans. People do change and considering she can be romanced, her LI (Shepard) could influence her. Needless to say I like Jack the way she is but change is always a good thing and it can come optional for those of you who are so fanatical about her not having any hair.
Character (maturity and emotions as well as the character) growth often comes in change in the visual style whether small or big. I would like to see her grow and mature as a person in ME3 due to Shepard's influence.
Perhaps I should have wrote my thread more in-depth rather then the one sentence statement. The thread was done rather spontaneous on a whim hence why it appeared as if I detest Jack and want her to conform.
This isn't about trying to conform Jack. I do understand her intention with her look is to drive people away. But since Shepard is in the picture - this obviously provides new things to ponder about whether she is romanced or not. Having a valuable friend (her first real friend at that) is equally as important as being her lover. I think both would bring about change in the way she rationalized things - she know understand the concept of puting oneself in danger for someone else (Shepard), protecting someone you hold dear.
And yes the hair is naturally the first thing I thought of but it can also be a tattoo related to Shepard or subtle but evident changes in her way of clothing. I am talking about a well-thought out character growth.
There's nothing worse then a static, unchangeable character

Well, I like your idea. Hair would be nice but she's fine either way.

Looks like the presumptuous insults are coming out. Time to bail before the name calling starts.

While it's fun to speculate on her hair, I just LOVE her bald look. Jack is super hot.
Bald doesn't make a girl look pretty. But for Jack, it works.
She doesn't want to be, neither tend to be the pretty girl.
She's the mindraped all powerful b.tch. River Tam Hardcore version.
And for that, bald is fitting.

Hm...I'd be glad if they just wouldn't give her another appereance, never ever again. Most annoying, unauthentic character the Mass Effect universe had so far.
BioWare just tried way to hard to implent a rebellish woman into the game, and the outcome was a stereotype rebel girl I already had been fed off with in the late 80's / early 90's.
And I was about 5, 6 Years old back then.
