Hello folks!

Because of a system problem with my PC, I have had
to rebuild all my previous installed files.  The question I have though
is if I install ME:2 prior to ME:1, will the save file options allow me
to later create a new character for ME:2 based upon the saves of ME:1? 
Sorry but just wasn't sure if I had to have ME:1 installed first for
ME:2 to recognize the save files.
