Hello.
I have problem with lightmapping in my first room. After i do Render lightmaps etc. and run my level in game i have some places with low quality textures on models and somethings like black points.

Its normal or i do some wrong? Maybe bad graphics card for render lightmaps (I have 8800GT)??
thanks for any ideas...
...and sorry for my bad english:lol:

Do you use full gfx quality ingame (settings -> video)?

that's a bug. if you remove the roof props you won't get the noise. so there are 3 ways to deal with this:
1) remove the roof props and render them separately with lights. after the rendering process you can place them in the correct position and export your level.
2) touch up your rendered light maps with a 2d app like gimp and remove the noise manually.
3) live with the problem and try to ignore it.
neither way will deliver a 100% perfect solution. bioware abandoned updates for eclipseray (and the toolset). luckily chewy has got something within his sleeve^^

The ceiling sollution, although not perfect, is way better than the extreme noise you get otherwise. Though it can be tedious when doing it in 10+ room levels.

plus shadows from the room at the roof will be lost because while rendering your roof is out of place, so the noise is gone but also lots of atmosphere.
