I first saw her owrking on a heavily gaurded base held by saren where they were preforming cutting edge tech on the genophage, then in ME2 i run into her again while working on krogans again! is Rana some kind of super freak krogan genius evil asari? i hope she becomes eligable for hire in ME3 to help mordin with hes experiments. shes gotta be doin somethin right.

or is it just another "refund guy?"

It would be cool if we see her in ME3 and find out her motivations for working on krogans in both games and what her goal is long term. And yeah I agree given her work on krogan she would be a good side-kick for Mordin; perhaps Rana has found a new solution to the genophage.

The real shame is, is that she's killable in ME1 so may well just be a cameo again.

...but it's so much fun telling her to run as fast as she can so she might escape the blast.

(Who said Paragon choices were all sweetness and light? Muahahaha.)

Rana does neuroscience, it's not likely she's going to have anything to do with a genophage cure.

Well, she was initially working for Saren unvoluntarily. In the second one...I dunno. Maybe she found out the magic of the Quad? If she returns in the third, I want to make her run away again. Combine it with the Thane loyalty mission "It's going to explode! RUN!" guy.

Whenever we run into Rana, we need to be able to blow up her office.

ME2 was a major letdown on this point. All we could do was hack into her bank account, steal her medigel, and accidentally get her boss to kill himself. Bah.

I have to say I'll be surprised if people who did let her go don't see her again in ME3. I can't see Bioware just leaving it at her running out, specially as one of the squadmates has the potential to state how letting her go was a bad idea in both games IIRC as am sure someone says it in ME as someone does in ME2.

I killed her, mainly because she has the worst taste in makeup.

In ME3 Rana might be needed for her knowledge on indoctrination.

Nah, I bet any money she'll be messing with some Krogans again somewhere. She'll probably have a personal guard with her though 'Just in case Shepard arrives on the scene' :P

I let her go in ME1 and ME2. Zaeed said that my decision will bite me in the ass. We'll see Zaeed, we'll see.
