About the focus of the news:
If it's monthly, if it doesn't require too much effort, it'd be better to, at least, mention all kind of updates on the Vault (modules, PWs, whatever). 2 months can be a long time in this community.
I like the specific comments about the modules, so you can mix both approachs. Next month, you can comment some PWs, and mention the new/updated modules. Same for next month, but commenting modules (from both months), etc.
Also, requests for playtesting and the like should always be mentioned, IMHO.
Just suggesting...

Right now, I'm thinking bi-weekly (that's once every two weeks) which will synch up with the Podcast (so I can get a little recorded bit about the cool stuff to tease y'all a bit) for my little prepared Citadel News Flash on the Podcast (hmm, catchy, I think I'll use that.)
I don't know if you've read some 'back issues' Arkalezth, but those are the very kinds of things I highlight and promote. I know a lot of folks only cruise by every once in a while and the CCNUs are geared for both the avid forumite as well as the occasional lurker. The whole point is to keep folks up to date as well as possible in the time frame available to me.
And if I sound crazy when you hear my voice, don't say I didn't warn you.

Yes, I used to read the news before. Of course, my suggestions assume that you have enough time, ignore them if that's not the case.
I haven't heard the Podcast until now, because there's the possibility that I don't understand half of what is said (I understand written English better than spoken English), but I should give it a try someday.

The Next Edition should be out hopefully Next Tuesday, though after that I think I am going to shoot for a return to my Late Saturday/Early Sunday releases. Due to the many PMs I have recieved and some posts on open forums, the larger majority of folks have expressed a preference for Sunday Morning reading. And, to accommodate that, I will, ultimately, return to something on your virtual doorstep on Sunday Mornings.
