There are a lot of countries they could buy! Ecuador was just the closest to $60bn US without going over. I'd personally recommend Cuba, lots of room for growth there if it could get some new ownership.

Considering how much they've been complaining about the weather in Edmonton, this sounds like a good idea.

Or lucha libre. I'm a big fan of that!
You'll need Mexico for that. Cuba is big on boxing.

If DA2 sells a billion copies, I'm buying myself a pony. Made out of gold. With rockets. That shoots lasers out of its eyes.
I'm tempted to start some grassroots movement to hit this number of sales just so David can have such an awesome pony. Provided he uploads a video of him riding it, of course.

Watch yourself John! This guy is plotting to steal your pony and give it to Gaider!

Yes, our games are now going to be enjoyed by millions upon millions of potential players rather than just going to please the small number of players who identify as "hardcore RPG." Terrible thing, this wanting to make money and open up our games to a wider audience. Simply terrible.and now casualising your "hardcore" RPG offering.
Videogame elitism is a shameful thing. We should be sharing our interests and preferences, not denouncing others who happen to like different features or games or genres.
Is the hard-core audience really too small, then?
I think people don't really have a problem with branching out to other genres, as such. It's rather that, there are already so few hard-core games being made any more. It's a large market niche that's getting served less year-by-year as developers move away to the mainstream segment. Which is also bad for diversity, btw.
Also, on the point of making money: the hard-core niche is pretty big, with litte competition. The mainstream niche is overcrowded with games that keep copying eachother's features until they're all alike.

Yet they are making DA2 what it is.
Yes, under-serving the hard-core niche even more than it already is.
It's not that I don't appreciate other game types, but I also want to play hardcore games - and those are getting scarce.
