Well, now that you brought it up...what should these 'cheaters' get?

Is marriage and blue children completely out of the question?

I, for one, wish the cheater gets outright dumped by both parties and ends up alone but I'm bitter so...

Marriage for the faithful FTW!!!

I hope so! Those of us who have been faithful to Liara across the trilogy enjoy marriage, old age, and a lot of little blue children.

Cheaters get...something inferior.

Not so sure... I still see it as a distinct possibilty that Shepard will have to sacrifice his/her LI in ME3. At the moment, I couldn't even say which of these possible outcomes I'd prefer.

I'd love for a wedding at the end of ME3 where the "something blue" is already taken care of, but it'd have to be done just right... not too cheesy - I mean paragony. And players should have to really work to get that outcome, meaning they should have to sacrifice other things.

The faithful get marriage, blue children and a life with Liara :o  (need i say more)

as for the cheaters...  they get exiled to Omega, and have to live on the streets amongst the Vorcha and work for Aria as broken, lonely losers for the rest of their lives with only Patriarch to sympathise.

The cheaters get Jacob. That is the priiiize for cheating. And that is all.

(Yes, the Dudesheps, too, get Jacob)

Alternatively, the cheaters get Lazarus'd to look like Ugly Shepard[TM].

Reminiscent of her design in Redemption.

Which was, of course, pretty bad. The skintight, latex labcoat baffles me.

You guys don't get it!

It's the new darker, edgier and radical direction ME2 had! If you folks don't like it then suck it up, because everyone in ME3 is gonna run around in skin-tight latex outfits!:P

I'm looking foward to the fact that both Liara and Samara is gonna be dressed like Xena the warrior princess!

I don't know. I have a friend who has an imaginary sister who once spoke to a guy who has an aunt whose dentist works in art design for Bioware who's pretty sure that the asari fashion of ME3 will be Parkas. And moon boots.

As an aside, I thought that Liara's LotSB dress was beautiful.

I still choke up whenever she walks through the door to Shepard's quarters, as she looks stunningly elegant, powerful, mature and beautiful. She's amazing.

Wow... page 100 nice :)

Yes, Liara in that dress is lovely... she looks almost royal or something....

My Shep always prefers the cerberus officer uniform... its the best 'fancy' attire.... the dress from stolen memory is nice, but a tad short....

Plus, Shep's 'come back soon... liara...'

so.... heart breaking!

I feel so alone after that! Liara is our Shep's sanity for all that she/he has to go through!

Yes! I believe this scene in particular displays Liara's grown maturity quite beautifully.

That scene leaves a empty void in my Shep's heart. Liara is the calming sooth to the rough life Shepard have lived so far.

The best outfit for the cabin re-union is (in no paticular order).

1: Male Shepard's suit (Kasumi DLC)
2: Cerberus officer uniform
3: Alliance officer uniform

I agree.  It's really hard to watch her leave.  But, there will come a day when she gets to stay forever. Posted Image

Hah! I find it quite interesting that many of us consider Liara to be the rock that Shepard leans on for support, and is a trusted friend and loyal lover.

I've said this before, but I love the fact that Shepard and Liara feel comfortable with confiding in each other. Liara is one of the few people that Shepard trusts enough to lower her barriers, and display some form of emotional vulnerability. It's testament to how deep and beautiful their romance truly is.

Too true. That's why I always pick the lower options in the first two dialogue wheels, followed by the marriage choice.

To me, it just feels so right

Do you think Liara stayed briefly or an entire night after that blackout?

I have this image in my head of Kelly by Shep's door, and Liara answers it wearing one of Shep's old t-shirts or something....

'Tis true. Liara is also the only one except for Brandy'd Chakwas who asks about Shepards true feelings in his fight against the Reapers. She does so in both games.
Liara is a true friend and confidant. No wonder we consider her Shepard's rock.

Yes.  I believe Shep and Liara's love will live on and be stronger than what any other LI could offer.  As we've seen with Ash/Kaiden, they do not even trust Shepard after meeting on Horizon.  Their apologies are well recieved by my Shepard, however to not trust Shepard is to not truly know Shepard.  Liara has proven that she deeply trusts Shepard and their bond becomes even stronger because of it.  They can be who they are with each other.  It's a truly beautiful and powerful bond shared equally between the two.

I also feel that Liara is one of the few people who seems to look beyond "Shepard the hero" and instead sees "Shepard the person".

I have a question about the mind meld thing.... does it affect Shep as well or just Liara?

They merged minds... so Liara can feel Shep's memories? and if they're mind linked...

did Liara feel Shepard die?
