Hey does anyone know where I can find a certain interview? I remember reading one where someone from Bioware said Liara was the most human character. It was for ME1.

@TMA I agree. What we did get was awesome, but it would've been cool to see more.

Yeah, I get Feron has a time limit, but I still was disappointed when Shepard and Liara arrived at the Shadow Broker base. I was hoping more was going to happen before then. But when they did, I felt "Damn it... it's going to end soon."

I think the dlc lotsb should of been longer and more dramatic for those who stayed loyal.

I mean sure there was the very ending to be very dramatic but that was it.

It has been two years and the characters act like they are in denial that Shepard is alive. (dumb)

would you act like a dimwit if your love in your life came back after two years?

I'm sure most here have devolped some sort of headcanon to ease the pain of the Illium cameo.

Yeah, that's it. I haven't read it in a while. Funny how google didn't pop it up, even thought I wrote "Liara human character casey".

CH: I really like Liara. She's an alien but turned out to be the most "human" character in the game. She's very sensitive; I like the little conversations you have with her aboard the Normandy where she tells you her hopes and fears. It's a very tender little story about her character.

Really? I remember experiencing this sense of eager anticipation, and excitement at what was to come. Additionally, it felt wonderful to see my Shepard and Liara interacting with each other once again, and I believe that the banter enriched and deepened the romance to an even greater extent. I was never really sad the the mission was going to end soon, as I was enjoying it too damn much!

The scene in which Liara first takes control of the Shadow Broker network felt as if it had so much weight behind it, and like it was a pivotal moment in the story of the Mass Effect trilogy. It was an amazing feeling to watch Liara step forward, and address her new agents for the first time.

They hug you, and ask why you made them think you were dead. They even use the love word.

I thought everything was great. Don't get me wrong. I just didn't want it to end, or I wanted it to keep going. And after Illium, I was hoping for another hour or 2, but showing up at the base told me otherwise. It told me everything was going to be over soon.

My maleshep romanced Ashley, and he got a hug, and then a cold shoulder. and then an apology letter.  and that was all.

Oh okay well, you don't even get a kiss?

Liara's kiss was a bit "awkward" but it was still a kiss dammit :D

I will admit that I think the intent of the Illium cameo was quite good, and if you pick all the options where Shepard is angry at Liara (I based my headcanon off this) and DON'T get the confession, a decent setup for LOTSB is made.

In the scene on the Normandy after LotSB when Liara hands you your dog tags, did anyone get the diologue of her explaining how admiral hacket gave them to her to give to you? Somehow, i did not. Not sure why. She just hands them to me and Shepard goes on to say how she thought she'd never see them again.

You only get the mention regarding Hackett if Liara is your friend.

I've grown to like Liara's original scenes on Illium, and now consider them to be a vital part of the Shepard/Liara love story. The fact that their love for each other endures such adversity is proof of how strong their dedication and devotion is.

Yeah, like I said before. It might be badly done, but it was needed. It's the romance where you'll go through the most heaven and hell out of all of them. At least until the VS one comes anyways.

That the Liara romance have had a dark patch might have shaken off alot players (they don't know what they are missing!:P). But it made the romance far more deep and far more meaningful.

The problem with the scene on Illium never was the idea of implementing a "rocky" chapter in the romance, it was that this chapter was written and presented so badly that it wasn't "rocky", but that in fact it wasn't anything at all.

I think the rocky patch wasn't handled well because, initially, you have very little information. I mean, think of the time line of things that you, Shepard, know:

1. You enter Liara's office.

2. Liara kisses you.

3. Liara shakes her head. (What does that even meaaaaaaaaaaan, aaaargh)

4. Liara talks to you like a friend and keeps secrets from you.

5. You hack a few terminals for Liara.

6. Liara tells you, like, .5% of what happened.

7. You leave very confused.

I mean, not exactly your best situation pre-LotSB.
