and plus cerberus wanted to make shepard as he was in me1 so i doubt they would put a control chip in him. I'm glad it was liara who saved me as well, kaiden has become some what crazy over cerberus. Also why is ashley always cross eyed? my first playthrough before i got me1 i met ashley on horizon and she had a really bad lazy eye. can't remember if kaiden did as well.

Liara faced a similar dilemma when Cerberus informed her of what they intended to do with Shepard's body, and the goal of the Lazarus Project. Did the possibility exist that something could go wrong? Of course, but the alternative is far worse. When there's an opportunity to save someone's life, the vast majority of people will take that opportunity.

The cabin scene. Personally, I think it's the greatest and most engaging scene in the Mass Effect trilogy thus far. The writing, dialogue and emotion is absolute perfection.

Agreed. I really love her eyes in that pic

To brings this thread back to topic:
So the new comic that tells the origin of TIM is suggesting that the reason TIM's got those eyes are because of Reaper tech. Now this is interesting since Shepard got the exact same eyes, they are just red.
So if it turns out that Shepard have in fact been implanted with Reaper tech during the Lazarus project, would that bring back Liara's guilt for handing the body over? Even if Shepard is standing infront of her and they are together again.
I'm going to bring this back from the dead real quick.
In the Xbox 360 version of ME2, my Shepard's eyes are green - the color I designed her with. Unless there's a difference/glitch between PC/Xbox/PS3 versions, I was unaware that her eyes were 'implants' so to speak.
Help?

Lizard was referring to the Renegade 'red glowy eyes' you get when your Renegade bar is quite full. All Shepards have implants for eyes and Miranda made sure to match them up with Shep's normal color, but if you go Renegade they turn red for some reason...
The fear is that this is 'Reaper tech' similar to what the Illusive Man has and the question was, would Liara feel even more guilt if Shepard was implanted with Reaper tech by Cerberus?

Which is kind of disturbing. I imagine Liara most look at Shepard sometimes, and wonder how much is Shepard, and how much she's partly responsible for.

Yes, it is a bit disturbing if it's true....we'll have to see what happens in ME3. The whole Lazarus thing just may be dropped too.
I would assume Liara does ponder what happened exactly to Shepard on that Cerberus operating table. I'm sure Shepard wonders the same thing.

I was just pondering about if I was the only dude that actually uses a dude shep.
Never have used a femshep, is there anything different in dialogue?

The only thing that I know for certain is that after defeating the Shadow Broker, with an mShep you can hear Liara sobbing, while with a femShep she's silently crying.

I'm kind of hoping we see fresh situations/dialogue between Shepard and Liara. Honestly, despite the magnitude of the situation, I hope Liara has finally been able to forgive herself. Shepard has tenderly reaffirmed her (well, if you're a Paragon), so I kind of hope she finds strength in that. Of course, that was a crucial/major decision on her part, so I understand how far reaching it can be.
I just hope we see them live more in the present, looking forward, than regretting the past...
Not that I wouldn't be for some tender forgiveness moments between Shep/Liara.

There's some differences, but it's mostly because of bugs. I don't want to go into the details, since it might start a vs war, which I'd rather avoid.
