Liara's Letter

Obviously, this picture depicts the moment that Kate reads the letter from Liara. Simultaneously and back on Illium, Liara is thinking about Kate, and is tormented by worry and guilt as the woman she loves prepares to travel through the Omega 4 Relay.

Since everyone here seems in favor of little blue children, (how could you not be?) I was somewhat curious as to how many kids you see your Shepard and Liara having.

Personally, I think my Shepard would probably want either two or three kids, enough for sibling bonds, (my Shepard is an only child and Liara is too) but not so much that life becomes over-hectic.

She hasn't lived on the Normandy the last two years. That means living in a house or apartment. A lot of bills to pay.

1) that's not the reason she became an information broker, it was to find the Shadow broker

2) If she did need to pay the bills, I'm sure she could go back to archaeology.

That line always confused me.

For the longest time I only had one Shepard, period. She was a Paragon/Vanguard who romanced Liara.  After numerous trials and false starts, I created a Renegon/Soldier femShep that I was happy with.  As I stated in my earlier post, she didn't like Liara at all, but ultimately the two became friends.  I have tried to play other Sheps w/ Liara as the LI, but I agree, it just feels odd.

With my canon Shep, an only child, she would like to have three kids w/ Liara if possible. After saving the galaxy, she may even be content w/ staying home w/ the kids herself.

The Normandy was destroyed two years ago, so I got the impression she was talking about her time on Ilium.  After the events of the comic, she most likely either went straight to Ilium or got there by a series of other circumstances.  I assumed she had bills to pay ever since she went out searching for Shepard's body.

I'm pretty sure it's just a 'line', indicating that it's not necessarily what she wants to be doing, but she does it anyway.

Ooooh that's an interesting idea. At least one, and a maximum of three would suit my Shep perfectly well

Being an ex-gang member, pickpocket, small time red sand user, and gambler... while great skills to use in her childhood of the slums...Charllie's not positive she can be the best 'father' to her girls, but she'll give it a try


She just hopes, Liara won't get too mad when she teaches them the fine points of skyllian poker....

I think even Liara knows her limits. She said after all she was doing this for Shepard and the Reaper threat. If she's not you LI maybe she carries on.  If you defeat the Reapers in ME3 then Im sure she will hit the shutdown button and walk off with you into bright new horizons!

Ah, I guess you are right.  When Shepard was just 'hanging there' she could have used biotics to bring her back into the shuttle.

Though, this is assuming everything with Joker would have still happened the exact same way with Liara there.

Though, since Liara is seen waving people onto the shuttle, I assume she at least helped some of them find their way there. Had she stayed with Shepard, people might have died who Liara otherwise would have saved.

I imagined her having a recurring nightmare where she defies Shepard's order to help with the evacuation, and instead tries to biotically drag Shepard to a shuttle, but always fails.

I'm so goddamn antisocial I'd move there even if Liara wasn't on it

I doubt my Shepard would mind either, since she's a Spacer.
