Yus.

Really ?

ummm

Abby would have strong objections to that idea. I see a lot of arguing. After the Reaper war, there's no much point keeping it. Probably would be for the best blowing it up

For Hayley, would be maddening being stranded there. She's a talented engineer, so if she can't convince Liara, she'll definetely sabotage that piece of junk. "Oops, gotta leave Liara. Let's go"

Natalia, I don't know. I'm not that far in the game. Still haven't thought about a lot of stuff.

Rachel most definitely.  She's been fighting in wars (not all with the Alliance, of course) since she was 12 years old and would love to just relax somewhere peaceful and quiet and be a housewife to Liara...cooking/watching over the children and all that stuff.

Yeah, I get that, but that place doesn't look homy and comfortable.
And a surprise visit to your lover's office to grab some lunch, cool. Living there ? ummm...

I guess Rachel is thinking that it beats the slums/streets of New York.  Plus, they could decorate it up nice and homey :D

@ LesEnfantsTerribles: Thank you very much; it makes me really happy to hear that someone likes my works so well. :)
I completely love those names, somehow they sound very asari and very human at the same time. O_o How did you do that?

@ Ericzio: I think she meant that she had ‘real’ life responsibilities, apartment rent, travel expenses, etc. she couldn’t just go running off on another universe saving adventure.

@ JamieCOTC: For awhile, then she’d start to go stir-crazy, she’d rather find a peaceful planet to settle on.

@ Cypher0020: That would make ‘family’ reunions very interesting, I can easily see a little blue Shep cleaning house against Uncle Joker and Aunt Ashley. Oh, now I have a really neat fan art idea…

I don't even think Liara would want to live there the rest of Shepard's life...  Unless she meant "the location could be better[/i] in some way that I'm not understanding.

Alice grew up on Earth, and despite her having a rough life while doing so, she got used to being planet-side.  Living on a ship for the rest of her life without any sun would drive her nuts.  I'm sure she'd be able to convince Liara to move to some lovely beachfront abode and be the Shadow Shadow Broker from afar  ^_^

About the base, I'd strongly recommend to move to a more "live life here forever" location. She wouldn't have to stop being the Shadow Broker. But if I must live there, no buts, then the only thing I'd like to know is, "So I can't even leave at all? As in, I can't visit friends and family, nor go on adventures? Not even just just go for a walk on some random forest planet? Are you Morrigan, and I've just mistaken you for Liara?"

But if I'm just living there, I don't have a problem.

Okay, I'll answer my own question here.  UJ would live on the SB base w/ Liara, but only after much debate, arguing and picture straightening.

Now the tragic beauty of the relationship is the lifespan issue...... lets jump 100 years or so post ME3....

Liara would be 209 give or take, and Shep would be 132 possibly 133 since the comics take place in 2186....

Anyways....how would your Shep, now in his/her early 100's take to aging..... still a frontline fighter? An instructor? Spectre?

I personally see Charlie being a Spectre well into her 90's early 100's, and around 120 or so, becoming the director of the N7 program or something....

Using her skills, knowledge to teach the new kids....

My Shepard would try to pursue a new career that has nothing to do with combat or fighting. Why waste your life doing the same thing?

You know what I just realized? If Liara hadn't left when Shepard told her to, she could have used Pull to bring her back to the escape pod even after she'd been knocked away... which can't have made her thoughts about that incident any easier.

Ah, I guess you are right.  When Shepard was just 'hanging there' she could have used biotics to bring her back into the shuttle.

Though, this is assuming everything with Joker would have still happened the exact same way with Liara there.

Though, since Liara is seen waving people onto the shuttle, I assume she at least helped some of them find their way there. Had she stayed with Shepard, people might have died who Liara otherwise would have saved.

I imagined her having a recurring nightmare where she defies Shepard's order to help with the evacuation, and instead tries to biotically drag Shepard to a shuttle, but always fails.

Now that's interesting.  I always imagined Liara having a recurring dream where she defies orders to stay with Shep, and tries to biotically drag Shepard into the shuttle, and succeeds.

And then wakes up alone.

For two years.

Alice would want to stay a Spectre for a long time because she'd feel that it's the best way to make a difference in the galaxy. She'd probably not go for the more obviously dangerous missions because of her promise to Liara, and of course there are the little ones to think about. Once she passes the century mark she'd probably seek out a less front-line career that still makes a difference. She'd have a hard time retiring completely, but maybe Liara could break her (Alice's) leg or something that would keep her grounded. She'd want to make a good dad for her kids, though, so perhaps violence won't be necessary ;)

Awwwww! Liara would break Shep's leg... or perhaps just biotically pin down?

I have a hard time grasping Shep retiring...after saving the galaxy twice, attaining N7 and Spectre status and countless other insane missions...

But when I think about it, once Shep gets into his/her hundreds.... I guess I can see him/her becoming wiser, settling down on the Citadel with Liara and their little blue children....

Plus, after everything is said and done, I think our Shep's should be allowed some heavy R&R, to calm down

Well maybe she won't break Alice's leg. Maybe just hang her upside down for a while until she relents >.>

Liara's Letter

Obviously, this picture depicts the moment that Kate reads the letter from Liara. Simultaneously and back on Illium, Liara is thinking about Kate, and is tormented by worry and guilt as the woman she loves prepares to travel through the Omega 4 Relay.

I can't thank you enough for this, jlb. It's wonderful. THANK YOU!!!!!

Great job on both the letter and that picture... Love them Posted Image

@Jwalker

Holy Crap indeed... that would be a disturbing dream to have for no less than two years...

Since everyone here seems in favor of little blue children, (how could you not be?) I was somewhat curious as to how many kids you see your Shepard and Liara having.
Personally, I think my Shepard would probably want either two or three kids, enough for sibling bonds, (my Shepard is an only child and Liara is too) but not so much that life becomes over-hectic. :)

Thoughts?

The rare case ot twins! Natalya would love twins!

Hmm, did they make a CG Liara just for advertising, or are they doing something new with her?

I'm still new to the Mass Effect Universe. I bought the second game in December und played with the default male/Shepard, with no clue what was going on ^^
I was surprised when Liara came to my Shepard and hugged him.
Meeting the other Crewmembers felt always a little distant and cold. But she was the only one I felt, was really happy to see Shepard.
So I decided to buy the first game and thanks to a lot of creative people out there, I found a female-Shepard I liked (Yes I have no patience for the Charactercreator) and played it how I like it. Renegon I think....
And I had to choose between Kaidan and Liara.
First of all, I play ME in English, because I think the translation is really bad
So I talked to Kaidan and If my life depended on it, I couldn't understand him. This romance was never meant to be .
And then I talked to Liara and sometimes I did choose Renegade options with her and I thought she was marvelously awkward. ME and Liara brought me back to playing a female Character again. I have a lot of Bioware Games and the Romance options are boring for female Players, in my opinion. (Except Kotor 1)
But the dynamic between my Renegade Shepard (with a fluffy heart underneath) and Liara is just so funny. Btw, I really pissed her off on Illium later and she got really angry with my fem-Shep.
We both looked like this guy:

They made me1 like there was no one else to choose besides Liara, I'm not ever going to use a fem shep so romancing kaiden is out of the question even if I wanted to. And Ashley, god no, Ash is like a bro to me and that would be weird to try and romance her, on the other hand you have Liara the blue babe that doesn't care what gender you are. She is pretty much there to be a romance in my mind even though her biotics are fantastic, she's the perfect woman for shepard. Ash and Kaiden are to alike for shepard it just wouldn't happen no matter what gender. She did act like a damsel in distress which would fit perfect for a male-shep, us males all want to save a woman for certain danger. I also don't like how people think she was falling for shepard to fast, me1 is like 10 missions what do you expect (not counting any side missions)? why can't people just say it was love at first sight? sure seemed that way. at least IMHO.

Hmm. The lifespan issue...

Honestly, Diana would probably enjoy finding a career that involved less killing people. Not that she minds being a Spectre; after all, someone has to do it and it might as well be someone who doesn't play like Saren... I guess it'd depend on the political situation. Right now, though, she doesn't trust the Alliance all that much, so if that doesn't change, she'd probably try to stay working for the Council or just help the Shadow Broker full-time...

Perhaps advertising for ME3...that looks pretty cool, though.
