She would be devastated. Lose hope in her future...become more ruthless again.

She'd probably become severely depressed, losing interest in most things. There's a fair likelihood that she may just have not gotten on to that shuttle to leave the Lazarus station.

With Redemption, I think it's really that second issue that I don't like much...the last issue two issues weren't bad (probably b/c they removed the random grope attacks from batarians and moved on with the plot XD).
I liked #1 (the elcor was hilarious) and #4 (sad Liara - "We did it Feron - you did it" + Miranda/Liara conversation at the end)
#2 was the worst one for me (batarian slaver, Aria...)

If she died in an accident, he'd just be devastated. Do the job, not much else matters. If it was murder...things would get ugly. And my Shepard is pretty much full Paragon. Then again, he hacked those terminals for Liara, so going a bit Renegade for her is canonically on the table.Xilizhra wrote...

I'm actually working on the prologue to a fic where Liara sprung a surprise 100th birthday party for Charlie...... and she is NOT amused.... she hates parties, and loathes surprises

Awesome...I envy your ability to write one chapter/week.
Thank you to both of you
1. Not working (currently on a break from writing much less fun tech docs).
2. Keeping chapters in reserve. I didn't start publishing until I had like 8 written, I think.

I've got a little something for youuuu. I've been silent on the thread because I've been investing in a little Liara/femShep project. There's still a ton of work to be done....I still have to finish three pages, and, even then, I still have to heavily edit them in photoshop. Lots of cleaning and editing, roar.
But, anyways, I uploaded a preview picture of a mock up that I did. I'm creating a Liara/FemShep comic. You can check out the preview page here.
I created speedline brushes on photoshop today, so, you'll notice it's a little bare. Please keep in mind it's a mock up! Aaah, sorry, I'm super self-conscious. Anyways, give it a peek and let me know if you want to know more!

I would be interested. The mock up looks pretty cool so far.

I think Liara has been the only character in the series who really loved Shepard. I also think that she is the most developed character because clearly in ME1 she was so naive and gentle but in ME2 the change is evidently seen at the end of LotSB. I'm redeeming myself on my next playthrough. ShepardxLiara

Glad to see you're seeking redemption!
I can honestly say Horizon and none of the ME2 LI's encouraged me to 'cheat' if anything, I think I was encouarged to stay loyal... Miri, Jake, Jack... none of them even bother to console Shep after Horizon.....so yeah.....

Well, she (Malaika) is pretty cold/stern and duty-oriented with 'Renegade' leanings (Spacer/Sole Survivor). She does have some respect for the rules, but won't hesitate to go against them if needed to take down a bad guy or save someone. She hates mercenaries as she doens't like that they fight for money and not to change the galaxy for the better.
She's difficult to get close too, especially for someone like Liara, a non-human. Malaika is distrusting (she could even be called a bit xenophobic) of non-humans, given her parents raising her to be such coupled with her lack of exposure to other cultures (this changes in ME1 with Liara's assistance).
She doesn't like or trust Liara at first, but starts to greatly respect her after Noveria due to both her combat abilities and also her strength in dealing with her mother's death (this was the first quest world completed after Therum). Moving forward, the respect will turn into warmer feelings and Malaika will eventually fall for Liara in spite of her misgivings of getting involved romantically with a non-human. Her parents won't be very happy about this, though.
Drama.

It sounds like a lovely story. Being able to see her thought processes as she makes decisions would be wonderful.
