She's always been a very expressive character, both physically and vocally, even in ME1. It's one of the many reasons that I'm drawn to her character.

Agreed.  I also looooove her voice.  Back on the old thread I mentioned that I would pay to listen to her recite a phonebook.  :lol:lol!

Everyone's got to love Liara's voice - among other things. With the exeption of a certain "I'll flay you alive(...)" line.

Really? I loved that line, Liara sounds loveable in it! ^_^

I at least have an excuse! My beta reader's on a snowboarding trip. Chapter 4 is sitting in his inbox waiting for him.

And yes, jlb, you do need to update yours this weekend! Moar Duty Calls!

I have a problem with my beta reader too...she needs to get off her lazy butt and write the next chapter.

At least most of you have your fanfics in place where Liara is in them. Mine is just at the start of ME2 events. Liara is there only in spirit. Very strong spirit. :D I guess I could write what she's doing while Shep is away... Something to consider. <_<

She is our Guardian Angel. Without her there wouldn't be more ME.

It was quite awesome to see Liara take the Shadow Broker's attempts at undermining and ridiculing her, and throw it right back in his face, though.

Yea! That was definitely a highlight in the entire DLC. Quite impressive of Liara. Easily my favorite part.

she sounds much better when she's "slaying" people with knowledge then when she's trying to threaten them with violence :)

P.S.  thank you for the comments on my drawing :)  I'm going to try again, this time I'll use DLC screenshots as reference, she doesn't have the same textures or colores, but she's a lot more defined there and definitely more grown up looking, less soft.

Indeed! Both that, and the scene in which she takes control of the Shadow Broker network, and addresses her legions of agents, operatives and contacts, are absolutely awesome. ^_^

One of Liara's seminal scenes, IMO.

I agree, In Mass Effect 3 I know there is much to learn about Beloved Liara. *Smiles.* Yes I hope that she be back and comes back to your crew. I think she will, yes in a major role just like in the last two games. Liara as the new Shadow Broker, she have a big responsibility and Important role. I am unsure though what happens, if she took a brake from it. *Shrugs.* I think that she will continue being the Shadow Broker while serving and in love with Shepard. I hope that Liara does make a return and with Shepard.

I don't know, it would be odd for Liara to be a squad mate when she's the Shadow Broker. That doesn't exactly leave her all the time in the world. Liara was falling asleep at her desk when with her own original information network. Shadow Broker network? More difficulty. Moreover I think Liara being the SB is fascinating and I think I'd rather see here do her thing there than be a squad mate like everyone else. She has a unique position right now and it would feel silly for them to detach Liara from it now.

Not being a squad mate won't mean that you can't interact with her, though. I expect and hope that she'll have a good amount of content equal to the characters that are squad mates.

Blowing the collector base to a different dimension? I'm detecting some dragonball reference here.

Vegeta Shepard while overloading the core:"And now it's time to send this base to the next dimension"

Anyways.. In Mass Effect retribution Cerberus is taken out so don't worry about TIM in ME3 (at least too much). We're all hoping Liara is to give us the required intel in ME3 :)

I just did the Shadow Broker dlc for the first time with a shepard that romanced Liara. Wow, that was so great! I couldn't have asked for a better way for them to continue their relationship and Liara is just awesome in this. Beautiful and strong.

Hm... must confess that for a short short while I was getting a bit jealous of Feron. I've stayed away from all info on the dlc so when you end up on the station I thought that that was it. That she didn't want my shepard any more, that was a little bit scary. But shep and Liara worked it out and what a wonderful scene that was. Finally someone that asks shepard how she's really doing, my shepard can for a short while show how worried she is. Just great. Sorry that I'm on all fan-girl-mode here. I'm just so hyped for the moment. This dlc just showed me a new side of Liara and I'm just loving it. And the humor... "please don't give the mercs any ideas". Great stuff.

Nooooo! TIM is my Shepards best friend :(
Ha! Even a pure Renegade Shepard should figure out, that he will stab you in the back....

Speaking of TIM, can anyone explain to me why he is so obviously lying, when you ask him about Liara?
He says that his sources told him she is working for the Shadow Broker. He should know that's not true.
I'm a little bit confused...
