Some for the voice of Meer, it's terrible to others around here. Some because the Liara lovers are mostly female, at least the un-silent ones are, see it like this you are a male so most likely you are going to play as a male, but that is not always the case. Also others find it a little strange how a man could love a woman if she has no penetrative area on their body. I officially use Mshep (not sheploo he's the worst) and Liara as a romance option, and I could care less that she has no "part" for a male, it's not about sex.jamesp81 wrote...
I find it interesting that so many players that romance Liara do it with a FShep.
In my main playthrough, I did so with a MShep. And as some have mentioned, she's like his rock, his anchor of stability. Someone he can talk to without telling nice stories about how he's going to beat the collectors and the reapers, no problem.
This begs the question... how do asari give birth? Do they not have a birth canal? Possibly overthinking this but it's interesting nonetheless. >.>
As for me, I played as FemShep (due to me being female and not wanting to stare at man butt all day - oh and let's not forget the wonderous voice of Jennifer Hale) and had absolutely no desire to romance Kaiden. I found him a little annoying to be honest. I hadn't expected Liara to be interested in my Shep, actually, and was happily surprised when she voiced just that. The end result has been a sweeping romance that I've enjoyed watching immensely. I hope it continues to entertain in ME3.
