I'm going to assume yes since the whole point of breasts are for nursing young. Personally, I'd say a darker shade of blue. Why are you asking? For a piece of writing or just general curiosity? :P

one thing I like about Liara was that even though I didn't romance her (chose ash) you could tell she really cared and loved shepard in ME1-ME2 (don't know if thats the writing or the voice actor) and the discussion with her at the end of LOTSB was very sweet and you could tell she was a great friend who is there for you. LOTSB kindda made me wanna go back and romance her but ooh well.

She can voice her attraction for you whether you choose to romance her or not in ME1 so it's likely those feelings will carry through on to ME2. Whether it ends up as a platonic or romantic love is another matter. :)

There's plenty of time before ME3 for another play through. Give Liara a little love. ;)

Fair enough, the friendship is sweet too. :3

I didn't feel inclined to play through again either but I have recently. Mainly because of LotSB, actually. It just got me hooked on Mass Effect again, more so than the main games did. Ahem. I tried playing through as MaleShep (with the idea to romance Ash as I just can't imagine him and Liara together *shudders*) but I just couldn't get on with him. So I started up another FemShep and am now happily renegading it up in ME2. I tried to go for other romance options but Liara lured me in again. I'm hopeless. D:

Although, my first FemShep will always be canon for me. >.>

This has probably been asked many times before but, what do you see as the key to their relationship (friend or romantic). Is there a defining moment? Or is it a series of incidents or fate?

I think it's a gradual thing built by Shepard's actions. Admitedly the important factor could be the prothean affiliation but I'd like to think that's a bit of fate.
