I have no side in this battle  I have 2 Male Shepards and 2 Female Shepards one of each romanced with Liara  (The others are renegade so they have no romances )

I have to admit I do prefer playing as a female Shepard  Mainly becuase of the voice actor and the fact that my Shepard is quite attractive  Although my Male is my Main Shepard (Canon Shepard? Still don't know what that means :L, does it mean "main Shepard"? ) But thats only because I am male :L

I might even manage to get the video finished in an hour or less

I could imagine her becoming really worried that she won't ever see him/her again... Considering if the Reapers attack Earth while Shepard is in prison, he/she is pretty much guarateed to die

Canon just refers to officially recognised events in a game/story/show universe. It's hard to say what is and isn't canon for Mass Effect since a lot of the events are up to the individual player. Shepard dying at the beginning of ME2 would be canon, for example, but Shepard dying at the end of ME2 might not necessarily be because it didn't happen for everyone.

When people refer to their canon Shepard, they're meaning that they consider everything that happens on that particular play through is what officially happens (who you romance, whether the Rachni queen is freed or not, etc) and any further play throughs are alternates, and not considered as actually happening.

I think that makes sense. >.>

If she had hair, I'm sure she'd be pulling it out. I can just imagine her fretting over Shepard's fate. But... she is the Shadow Broker now, I'm sure she could do something about it. >.>

To be serious. I she will be concerned, and possible already making some sort of contingency plan to haul Shepard's ass out of the fire should they try to imprison him. She will do everything in her power to stall the trial and assist Shepard.

Now that I think about it, she might possibly be too much of a powerful ally for players in ME3. At least until the Reapers arrive. I don't suppose it matters much how much information you have at your fingertips when Ancient Doom™ is sitting on your doorstep.

Too powerfull? Liara might be powerful when it comes to political influence (im sure SB got some politicians in her pocket) but I feel the sheer magnitude of Shepard's decision is so big that no amount of blackmailing and whatever can help stop it.

I can not know what Bioware has planned for ME3 but given it's a possibility Liara plays a large non-squad role in the vein of The Illusive Man (ME2) or Captain Anderson (ME1) I could see her playing a role in helping Shepard out of trouble with the trial and possible impending imprisonment - she is the Shadow Broker after all.
I just hope we get plenty of Liara.

Aye, I'm thinking about the "give me fifteen minutes..." line here. Of course, whether she uses that power is another matter. I would think she'd be restrained enough to not do anything drastic, even if it is Shepard's honour and life on the line.

As much as I'd like to see Liara leading the way when it comes to bailing Shepard out... I don't think it will happen. I don't see BioWare completely overshadowing (pun entirely inteded) the other characters in the story and, more importantly, Shepard herself. If Shepard can't pull herself out of trouble on Earth, then what chance does she have with saving the galaxy?

I'm not sure about her being a squadmate either... But I'm sure we will be able to visit the SB base and talk to her after every mission to continue our relationship with her (Like in ME1 when you talked to her on the Normandy) We will definately be able to continue our relatioship with her, and I'm guessing that means we will see her a lot as well

Precisely.  A character - any character - is no good if they constantly need others to rescue them.

I like the idea of starting out in ME3 with a trial on Earth.  It makes for the perfect reason to start you out with no squaddies and no weapons.  You can bet your ass that as soon as I'm airborne, though, I'm heading for Hagalaz!

Yep, so even if it'd make a good Liara/Shepard moment, I'd prefer to see Shepard have the strength and ingenuity to get herself out of trouble. That said, I have no problems seeing Shepard go to Liara for emotional support. It's about time we see more of what Shepard's feeling in this game series. I don't mean her bawling her eyes out but just talking about it would be enough. 

That'll be my first destination too. Even if the Reapers are in the Sol system.

It is shorter than my other liara tribute because I have less Femshep scenes then I do male... But it's still 3:55 or something so it's long enough (I think the other one was 5 mins)... I'll post a link on here and those subscribed will be able to watch it before I do that no doubt : L

Although that could be one epic choice having to choose between humanity and an LI or the rest of the galaxy for that matter. I can honestly say I would not know what to do. It would probably mean many many many multiple playthroughs.

I get the feeling though that by the time Shepard shows up for the trial the reapers will already be there a la the E3 trailer so hopefully after saving the galaxy for the 3rd time they will forget about the 300,000 dead batarians

Liara wouldn't forgive her if she made that choice though so I'm sure Shepard would be a good girl and save the galaxy. Tsk. 

That would be a cruel choice to have to make, indeed. But an epic one, and possibly fitting for the end of this series. We'll see how brave BioWare are.

When you watch it, let me know if there is enough video capture... I don't mind taking it off and editing it ... It's quality over quantity though

In my other video there were parts ( when the asari spectre is hiding behind cover) when you don't really see Liara. In this one, there is more Liara... I've looked at other Liara tributes and they range from 2 to 5 mins, mine is 4 mins... So it's decent


But as I said before, I don't mind taking it off and editing it if there Is anything you want me to change/edit ;P

I was just using that as an expression. I was merely meaning she'd be upset with Shepard. But, yes, that might hang over their heads. Let's hope we never have to find out. D:
