I'm an optimist...I think she'll remain as equally popular amongst PS3 players.

jlb524's Shepard and Liara fanfic - www.fanfiction.net/s/6043456/1/Duty_Calls
jlb524, I implore you to keep writing. I can relate (or rather, imagine "my" Shepard relating) to Racheal. She felt like a real person. A believable Paragade; neither distant, heroic demigod nor over-the-top bad-ass. You even captured Liara's attitude and nuances perfectly. I swear that I heard every one of T'Soni's lines read in Ali Hillis' voice.
Please, please, please tell me that Chapter 10 is in the works?

Thanks!
I will actually have chapter 10 in the works soon and more will follow...I have no clue how long this will be.

This is actually something that I discussed elsewhere. LotSB's existence in the PS3 port of ME2 actually grants the Liara romance some form of parity when compared to the rest of the ME2 LIs, and maybe even an advantage. I think that most PS3 players will experience the fantastic development and writing of the Liara romance in LotSB, and will remain faithful accordingly.
True, if they pick Liara in the first place. Technically, since LotSB can be played at anytime post-Horizon, Liara will be like a full-fledged ME2 LI for them (except no cabin cuddling).
Liara is the one who runs to you in the beginning, but that's only b/c the 'Virmire' decision gets made after the opening cutscene.

Apart of me doesn't want a new look, simply because Liara keeps changing appearances, and color patterns. In ME1 she had the green lab coat, and black light armor. In Redemption, she had a light blue suit. In ME2 she was in a green dress. And in LOTSB she was in a white suit, and purple dress.

Also, this all depends on if there will be armor or costumes again. Assuming costumes, I would like her to keep something like the LotSB armor. Perhaps they can tweak it a bit?
IIRC, Tali and Garrus both had pretty similar armor in ME1 and ME2, but I think they made it look a little better with some minor improvements. Something like that for Liara.

You didn't like the LOTSB dress?
Well, I don't mind improvements, but Tali and Garrus still have similar iconic default looks and patterns that don't really change. Like Garrus is in a blue armor suit, and Tali is in a dark/grey/purple suit.

Liara doesn't really have an 'iconic' look, but I hope the LotSB armor becomes this, as this is probably my favorite on her.

No, I liked the dress, I just don't want her to wear it again for a similar scene in the future. In ME2, I found it odd that every time I visited Liara at work she was wearing the same dress every freaking day XD

That's my favorite look for Liara as well. Looks kind of like a frock coat - smart & sexy.
/is obsessed with the outfit as will come to no surprise to some

I dont mind if the squaddies only get their 2-3 "armors" again...but I would love to see them in only casual outifts in non combat zones.
Having Liara in a an (updated) lab coat again would be cool
And then outside her (updated) LOTSB armor...and another unlockable armor later in game (maybe some special asari commando armor the moment the Asari join the war)

What i would love to see (for all squaddies in ME3) is that she at least wears casual outfit in base and armor outside...like in ME1.

I agree with this. LOTSB armor is my favorite but it would be nice to change it up a bit if not just to make the armor stand out more when she DOES wear it.
Also I've seen some great color schemes going around for her armor that people created with mods. A black/orange combo looked really good even if it doesn't fit her personality. I'm sure bioware can play around with it.

In terms of casual attire, I would not mind it if the design of her dress were to vary. I think she looks extremely elegant, sophisticated, powerful, beautiful and mature whilst wearing a dress, and I'd look forward to her wearing another one again in ME3 and beyond. Perhaps during her bondmate ceremony with Shepard?

Stylistically, I think a well designed helmet could compliment her current outfit quite well.

I wonder how many PS3 players will be curious enough about the ME1 LIs that they'd try to find out more about them, before making their decision. I'd like to believe that some may head to YouTube or the Wiki to get a better idea of these characters. Granted, it's not the same as experiencing their stories firsthand, but it would certainly shed some light on who they are/what makes them tick, etc. I realise that the majority of players won't do this, but I think if I was new to the series but had missed a significant part of the story, I'd want to know as much as possible.jlb524 wrote...

So what do you think PS3 players will think of Liara, after only knowing her for 10 minutes in the comic? Do you think they'll be enough to hook up with her before they start playing Lair of the Shadow Broker?
No, I expect most PS3 players will randomly pick an ME1 LI and then romance someone in ME2.
I think it will be impossible to form any type of emotional attachment to the ME1 LIs from a 15 minute intro.
Hmm, yeah. I love her new armour and would be happy if it stayed the same, but some of the mods are pretty cool too. I'm rather partial to a green and black one.pacer90 wrote...

Yeah. I had hoped that Liara would continue the trend of ME1 characters wearing a hardsuit and helmet when fighting in adverse atmospheric conditions, in ME2.
Stylistically, I think a well designed helmet could compliment her current outfit quite well.
Isn't the LOTSB armor not so much a hardsuit, as it is a hybrid of clothes and armor ala Mordin's outfit?
"EDIT"
Just looked at the armor again. It does look like a well designed helmet could go along with it to go into dangerous areas.

As the comic, which obviously depicts the events of ME1, is viewed by the player following the destruction of the SR-1, but before the character creation screen, Liara will always be the character that rushes to Shepard's side during the opening cutscene. Additionally, IGN have also published a few preview images of said comic.

Whilst the artwork is, as expected, quite horrible, I think the reimagining of Benezia's death scene is quite interesting. Following ME2's release, the choreography used in the series' cutscenes has improved quite dramatically, and I think that this is what would have occurred as Benezia lay dying had it been developed for ME2.
I do think that's an element of the original scene that could have been improved.

However...this looks like a random asari in Liaras lab suit. Im just missing lot of Liara resemblance here.
oh and seeing this...I expect a lot of Liara romances...seems like shes portrait as kickass Alien with some curves.
Well she IS a kick ass alien with some curves...but there is way more to her and I hope ps3 users will have an opportunity to see that.
