I really doubt the ship can leave, as it was engineered to 'live' in that particular system, so to speak.

Though, I'm sure the ship holds smaller vessels in a hangar in which the Shadow Broker can use to escape if needed.

Just as she didn't really know how the ship worked before they boarded it, it was all speculation. So it might be possible that it is space-worthy and defensible. 

It might just be I suppose it will most likely have stealth like the Normandy too?

Never thought about that, good idea :3 That would give her a way to escape if it was destroyed, I always imagined Shepard having to save her with the Normandy >.>

My theory, it is ruined. D:

However, there must be some way of moving the Shadow Broker network from the ship in case anything went wrong with it. So, Liara could take it with her... maybe... possibly. I'm reaching, I know.

If she took it aboard the Normandy, that would not be the smartest of ideas, as the Normandy will likely be the head of the attack against the reapers.

Agreed.  That ship was built specifically to be powered by the omni-present lightning storms on Hagalaz.

I'm trying to think of alternatives other than the base being destroyed or Liara leaving it in the hands of someone else. Not many other options out there... D:

Just saw another leaked image/art from the magazine. Showcased Kaidan (in new badass armor I might add) along with Shepard and Liara (wearing her LOTSB armor).

I don't know if this is proof that Liara will retain her LOTSB armor, but it's interesting that they are showing Kaidan's new armor.

I think they put a lot of effort into updating Liara, Ashley, and Kaidan for ME3. However, I think we already saw the fruits of their labor with Liara in LotSB. I don't think they are going to change her significantly from LotSB for ME3...though, she will look even better in the updated engine.

My guess is that they will keep the LotSB armor with minor aesthetic adjustments.

So far, Kaidan looks the same, except a bit like Matt LeBlanc, and Ash looks like Jill Valentine.

I was really happy with the changes they made to Liara in LotSB and I loved the new armour. Yes, even her "butt cape". The waistcoat looked good, dammit! So, I'll be pleased if they retain that look for ME3.

I hope she does keep the dark lipstick, quite frankly Lotsb Liara already looks amazing. I doubt there's much more they can change to make her look better for ME3.

@jlb - I'm imagining something simple, where she's walking and you get to see the swish of the butt-cape. Flycam on the scene where she's 'caressing' the SB console so that the camera's either behind her or following her from the side (instead of following her hand)
