Yep, I don't recall her ever getting anywhere near as upset as she did in LotSB. The closest she got was when she thought Shepard might be dead at the end of ME1.

Oh, and I created the group. I'll add pictures and whatnot to it later. Blue Brigade.

That's the one. She doesn't cry, but you definitely hurt her feelings. Keep hitting renegade, and hit "Don't try to study me!" instead of the "I'm fascinating?" response. You won't get the "joking" response.

Thanks!  And I am jealous!  I do part time animating and texturing for Purdue, and a little graphic design if they need it.  Would really like to get into editing stuff though, but I am relatively new to it, only been at it for about 6 months so far.

I highly doubt you'll get another chance to get back with her in ME3. Even for those that haven't played Lotsb I think your romance with Liara is officially over. Where I in Liara's shoes I would certainly not give Shepard another chance after turning me down in Lotsb.

The way I saw it, was that Liara was still in shock over Shepard's return. I can see that.  And honestly, the "Let's be friends" line actually plays out more like a "We'll take things slowly" line, which if someone is thinking of rekindling the romance without jumping right back into it (kind of a foreign concept to me, personally  ), works pretty well.

I'm curious how they're going to handle all the variants for Liara's relationship in ME3.  I'm personally just hoping for a bondmate ceremony DLC at some point

That would be really nice. Even if they don't want to/don't have time to add that to the original game, it'd be nice to get a final 'closure dlc' where you can wrap up your business with your friends/LI and have a potential wedding/bondmate ceremony and stuff but I'll wait patiently to see how ME3 turns out. The GI article about multiple endings certainly seems to suggest Shepard won't get killed in all playthroughs.

If it was not for the dialog wheel naming the line "Let's be friends" I would have thought it simply "delayed" continuing the romance until ME3, since Shepard does not actually express that he wants to end the relationship.

I don't know about you. But I would not have Shepard and Liara become bondmates before the Reapers are defeated.

I think most people are referring to a DLC epilogue kind of thing. Just to tie up loose ends.

Not that Liara and Shepard not having a bondmate ceremony is a loose end. But the choice to have one would be nice.

Liara should ask every Shepard what he/she wants, so that everyone could choose their happy ending.

a: happy marriage with lots of blue babys.
b: go Team Shadow Broker! They could end up fighting crime together.
c: or they could open a bar on earth.
