Liara should ask every Shepard what he/she wants, so that everyone could choose their happy ending.

a: happy marriage with lots of blue babys.
b: go Team Shadow Broker! They could end up fighting crime together.
c: or they could open a bar on earth.

I'm sure the choices could be infinite and I doubt BioWare can account for more than a couple. They're never going to keep everyone happy, sadly. If they are going to doing anything remotely like a love interest epilogue, they may offer the marriage and/or baby option. Depending on the romance, of course. For some people, marriage or children isn't particularly appealing, so maybe they'll offer an option where Liara and Shepard can settle down somewhere, or perhaps go off touring the galaxy on their own ship.

As for me, as long as Liara's happy, my Shepard's happy.

To add something meaningful. Should Hannah Shepard (Spacer Shep's mom) make a comment about Liara to Shepard? Perhaps they could have a small conversation, could be very heartwarming!

I'd definitely like to see something like that, especially considering my main Shepard is a spacer.

Depending on what you define as " not accepting immediatly" then yes, I would imagine Mama Shepard be somewhat resistant at first. I always imagined Hannah being somewhat more traditional, since she grew up before first contact war.

That's certainly a possibility.

She has been the XO of several Alliance ships though so it's likely she's come across her fair share of aliens. I would like to think she'd be a little more educated than that. That said, she'll be fairly limited in her contact, even as a Captain, because she has an all-human crew.

I'd quite like to write a scene between the three of them now, actually. >.>

That's the one. She doesn't cry, but you definitely hurt her feelings. Keep hitting renegade, and hit "Don't try to study me!" instead of the "I'm fascinating?" response. You won't get the "joking" response.
