Apart from spelling Shepard's name wrong, that would've been awesome, but it's so unlike Liara :P

Indeed. And I can't quite figure out what's going on with her clothing. o_0

I think it's meant to look futuristic but I just find it obscure. >.>

It looks like someone's tried to tie her up with green velvet but missed her arms.

I'm seeing silk veils in there as well.

Perhaps it's because she's asari but someone needs to tell her not to wear the curtains.

And not to cut out parts of Miranda's catsuit.

Miranda will not be a happy bunny, I suspect.

Somehow it reminds me of the really erm.. what's the word... trashy perhaps? Anyway... reminds me of the clothing emily wong and many other women wore in ME1 even though they don't look alike... Weird.

Miranda will not be a happy bunny, I suspect.

As long as Liara is happy, that is enough for me:P

I didn't make it, so don't blame me for the spelling! :P

I agree the clothes look weird... Hey! Maybe curtains are fashionable in the future! :D

Have... to..  make pun...

Those clothes look like they're draped over her.

Phew, much better!

Oh no, it's okay, I know my puns are terrible! I get told that all the time. And, yet, I'm still proud of them.

You should always be proud or your work, like I am of mine. *hint hint*

Anyway...from what I've seen on this thread I have come to a conclusion:

Baby Asari are ADORABLE!

*gets hint* Ohh you have writing! I shall go check it out. :3

Yes, baby asari are cute indeed. I hope we get a real glimpse of what children look like at some point in the Mass Effect universe, even if it's not in this trilogy. >.>

My writing isn't that well known, due to shoddy advertising and the fact I only de-lurked/ started writing a week ago.

Indeed. But I have the slightest feeling that we won't. What with today's culture of "Don't put children in video games! Some sick ------- will make it so you can kill them!"

Well known doesn't matter. If it's good writing, it's good writing. :) I only just recently came to this fandom as well, even though I've played Mass Effect since it was released. I just hadn't felt compelled to write for the fandom until a month ago.

Oh yes, that's a good point. There's got to be examples of it done well though. I just can't think of any at the moment. >.>

Probably should get some rest but I have to know:

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

Is it true that it's a distinct possibility that the Ilium Bartender in ME2 is Liara's "Father"?

Mass Effect 1 & 2 Characters and Fan Creations (Spoilers allowed)!! Haha.

And yes, apparently she is, but it's not certain. >.>

It's hinted at, mostly through footage in the Shadow Broker's lair.

Go get some sleep. :P

I think that most of the Liara fanbase has accepted Aethyta as Liara's 'father'.

Game glitch or "protection of Liara" ... One thing that bothers me in Mass Effect is when I play Feros and take Liara with me. Now Liara is a century old and when you talk to Shiala, Matriarch Benezia's acolyte, she says that she has been Benezia's follower for two centuries. Wouldn't that mean that she would know Liara? In fact, she woujld have seen Liara grow up. So why do they not acknowledge each other?

In my gameplay I think Shiala intentionally stays mum in order to protect Liara. After all, she does not know if Liara's companions know of the connection and want to protect her. Now why Liara doesn't acknowledge Shiala I still haven't come to a workable reason yet.

Also, wouldn't that mean Benezia has been a Matriarch before Liara was born? Can they still produce off-spring at that stage of their life? Could the Matriarch be her "grandmother" (for lack of a better word) .. then who is Liara's mother?
