Apparently, Salarians saw the asari, and where like "****! We need boobs!". And thus, made the thing across their chest.

Back on topic, I wonder what today's Game Informer asari video tells us about Liara. Interesting how the child of two asari (not using the P-word) has such human-like features -- eyebrow-like and freckle markings. IRL, she was obviously designed that way to make her appeal to players, but I wonder how that works in setting.

More and more, I wonder if the asari were somehow an intentional result of anti-Reaper Prothean resistance, intended to appeal to as many different species as possible (EDIT: and have a natural predisposition to xenophilia, so as to unite the galaxy). We also know that they knew that humans were developing sentience over on this little blue dot. I can't help but remember the bachelor party on Illium. Just as humans tend to need facial features to be attracted to someone (not universal, as the Tali and Garrus romancers prove, but certainly prevalent), I wonder if salarians are drawn to skin tone and flexibility. We know from Garrus that turian males are drawn to head fringes and waists. It does make me wonder how many different species Liara is stunning to.

Maybe she and Mordin could bond over the burden of such beauty. Posted Image

I think there's some dialogue about that in the cabin scene in LotSB. But I think you have to cheat on Liara or not get back together with her to get it. Shepard says something like "Everyone finds Asari attractive". Shep's probably right, everyone likes the Asari NO exceptions Posted Image

Lol, I guess sleeping on their back wouldn't be comfortable. Then again, Liara did that after sex.

This might be a rather stupid question, but... does anyone know what that thing in the back of the neck is suppose to be? I'm not a huge codex reader so it might be explained there - but is it some sort of biotic amp?

Also not sure if all asari have it, think I've seen a few without it.

Edit: edited image.

But it's grey and metallic looking, the rest of her neck is blue. o,O

I'm not sure if the arrow is pointing to the right bit then, because it looks darker blue to me and... rather organic. :P

That's just the folds of skin that asari have on their heads and the backs of their necks.

Haha I thought she rolled over and sat up, or the sex could just be that good that it made everything else irrelevent :P

On a slightly different note, I was amused that she suggested we let the Council die in ME1 even though I was completely Paragon. Then again, she was probably going with "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one" thing.

i find the idea of the asari being the pawns of the Reapers offensive!! how do explain the Asari indoctrinated by Sovereign? if they were pawns they would have been like" roger that big daddy!"
nah nah! it's all wrong!!

It seems to depend on which party member is in your first and second slot, for lack of a better word. The first character seems to suggest letting the council die and focus on sovereign, while the 2nd character advises against it. Though there are exceptions, ashley/kaidan won't vote for sacrificing human lives to save the destiny ascension, at least not that I can remember.

Also, the first character you select into your final squad (starting on ilos) seems to be the one who shoots saren, I've always found it a little weird if you've got Liara and for example Wrex or Garrus in your party, and Liara is the one who puts another bullet in Saren's head, instead of the other.

Really?  I heard that Liara only pulls the trigger if you haven't romanced her and you bring Kaidan, or something.  I've only ever brought her and Ash or her and Tali to the final fight, so I wouldn't know.

I was wondering that too, on some playthroughs she advocates letting the Ascension be destroyed and on others she says to save it but I can't tell if it's tied to certain events or not.

I always bring Liara(obviously) and random other character, I always romance Liara as well and she's pulled the trigger a few times in my playthroughs. I figured she only pulls the trigger if you select her first and then the other squadmember (in the squad selection screen). To me, it just looks so wrong to see ME1 Liara walk towards saren's body and put another bullet in him. I like it a lot better when garrus, wrex or ashley does it.

Hmmm, I was being careful to select Ashley first since she was my LI, and Liara second for biotic backup. I distinctly remember Ashley putting a bullet in Saren, but I'm fuzzy on the Council (I know Liara suggested it but I could have picked her first once out of 100 squad selections).

Edit: that's not right, since Saren came right after the Council decision. So that means Ashley was my first selected squad-mate.

I like Ash pulling the trigger, too.  But bad-ass Liara is almost too awesome a sight to pass up!  :D

That's what I said right? First character you select seems to be anti council and shoots saren while the 2nd character is pro council and obviously doesn't shoot saren. But I should have some saves just before the talk with saren so I'll reload that and see who does what, just to be sure. But first... it's off to school.

Have a nice day all.

That is rather sad. I guess she's had plenty of time to come to terms with the fact that she may never get Shepard back. And it seems in this situation that she's had the time to get over him as well.

Thankfully that wasn't the case for my Shepard. ;)

No need for stair shoving, but it was sweet to see Liara as protectivePosted Image

I tested this with choosing Tali-> Liara, and then Liara->Tali from the start of Ilos.  Both times Tali was the aggressive shooter.

It's either random (1/4th chance to draw this outcome), or a priority list (like the one Bioware subsequently used for order of deaths on the suicide mission in ME2), or a priority list with a random factor (which would be a rather overcomplicated mechanism for a simple thing like dialogue).
