I'd like to know how huge of a role would liara play in ME3 and the info she would give shepard and about what...

We hope she plays a large role and gives Shepard intel needed to convice the other species to come to aid when the Reapers attack.
Also, we hope she can provide intel needed to stop the Reapers.
I can't wait either!

speakin about the ME3 trailer........what do you people think...was the reapers attacking just earth? or are they comin for everyone?
if they are just attacking earth then that seems foolhardy on the reapers behalf

I think it's just Earth where they're making their first strike, since humanity was the first to ruin their plans. And it will be around Earth where the final battle will happen. If it was everywhere, then it would add too much chaos, and people would be fighting already. However, if it's just Earth, then it allows you to go around and gather armies for an attack.

I doubt war will be made on other speices. However, if Shepard wasn't very nice to them in the past, Liara's intel may be needed to blackmail them into cooperation.
The Reapers are coming after everyone, but Earth is getting hit first b/c of Shepard. It seems they are more interested in humanity, or humanity is seen as a bigger threat.

Example, Liara's not allowed to have a friend when she needs one, not allowed to go into a different environment, and there are some danger cues in the music. Do you think not caring at all for Liara at the end of Shadow Broker will have negative effects in ME3?

Hmmm, probably not. I don't see Liara as the type to hold a grudge like that. I don't think she will fly off the handle or anything. I think they were just trying to tell the player 'hey, that wasn't very nice'.

Well, first there's the suspense music that plays at the end if you didn't romance her. My guess it seems to hint that Liara as Shadow Broker might be something to worry about. But if you romance her, this doesn't happen. And if you don't show any kind of concern, the dialogue is a bit different, and a little more business with a hint of friendship. And if as a friend you tell her she can't visit you, I heard there's a bad or sad reaction to it (I really don't want to see it, to be honest).

Anyways, one idea I have is that, if you don't show any kind of care to Liara, it'll drive her into depression, because it'll mean she's all alone besides Feron.

I thought that music was just a remix of "Goodnight Little Wing", played during Benezia's death scene if Liara is present?
I think it's supposed to represent that Liara is saying goodbye to another person she cares deeply about, that's all.

Anyways, if you do give her kindness and friendship, I don't think there's anything to worry about. But if you treat her like crap, and not as a friend, then there might be something to worry about. Not "evil lord", but simple, deep depression.
