Perhaps if Liara is present during such a meeting. One would launch a mocking remark at Liara that has something to do with Benezia or her being pureblood?
In such a situation would it be considered a political faux pas to either Vanguard Charge or throw Grunt at the offending Asari?
I'm sticking more to Adrenalin rush + Shepard punch.
Or if the one who says it is a little further away...
Shepard: Say hello to my little friend *Pulls out revenant machine gun and switches thermal clips*
Benezia and Saren having history. That'd be interesting. Though it's probably too late to learn about that.
Then again, maybe it's for the best. Don't want any retcons, saying they had a romance subplot. And that's why Liara's mom left Aethyta, because Benezia was cheating on her with Saren, and Saren is really Liara's father. And the pure blood thing was all bull****.
Wow TMA, You do have a lot of imagination...
Best thing to do is to let this subject rest. There's a lot of more important things BioWare can put in ME3. Exploring the history of Saren and Benezia (and how they got in touch in the first place) would be unimportant since, you know, both of them are dead. But Benezia leaving Aethyta to join/help saren (not romantically of course) would be a valid point if Liara hadn't stated she was raised by her mother and didn't know her father. So Benezia and Aethyta broke up... for lack of a better word.. before or just after Liara was born. Which was many decades before Saren was even born..
I wouldn't mind a Liara/Aethyta reunion and then Aethyta, at Liara's behest, telling Shepard/Liara why exactely it didn't work out between her and benezia...(Though I imagine their age might have had something to do with it as well)
